My insurance changed and I needed my prescription. I was blindsided by HEB Pharmacy that it was $292 to fill it. I needed it so I paid it.
I got home and started researching it. They were $110 higher than ALL other local pharmacies. I learned I can see all prices “in network” on the website. HEB is “in network” too.
I went back to HEB. This medication is individually packaged medication. They said they can’t take it back. Ok. Whatever. Can you match the price? Nope.
The lady at the counter actually said next time ask your doctor to send it somewhere else. ?
Thanks. HEB you have completely lost my business for good now. I will also make it my life’s mission to tell anyone that’ll listen this story as I recommend to never use HEB Pharmacies. I hope that extra $110 is worth it for you.?

In the pharmacy line and when the cars moved up, the vehicle behind me cut me off. Called the pharmacy and they refused to do a thing.
Update: While in line I did call the Pharmacy. I was told the same thing by the one who answered the phone, the Pharmacy Manager and the Store manager and that’s, “First come, first served.” Which is insane because I was first….

I moved to Texas 2 years ago and I looked for a good pharmacy. I tried a couple pharmacies but rhey didn't get my meds in a timely manner. I am on strong pain meds so I cannot keep backups. Controlled substances has its downfalls. HEB did a great job. If they are out of a med they will get it in the next day. Never failed

Horrible service. All of a sudden they will not fill a prescription for a controlled substance, if the doctor is not in the same county the HEB is in!! They filled it last month.

I really love heb that why I’m so disappointed with the pharmacy things started pretty good but lately they never have what’s needed I always have to drive 20 miles over 40 minutes to the Kingwood drive location to get my sons medicine who has epilepsy,adhd and autism so understanding that he has to have his meds and yesterday I was told his meds would arrive by noon (2days late) I rush there after work for them to tell me no it’s not here after receiving an automated message that it was ready don’t know when we’ll have it and then I’m sent to Kingwood location but hey it’s 7:45 I’m being rushed to only be told it will be ready at 8 am while my son is having a total melt down fighting and falling out because he hasn’t had his meds in days ijs saying heb you have no idea how difficult it is to just get day to day task done ( school,work, getting in/out bed) without these meds guess it’s time to find a new pharmacy and yea no delivery if you don’t live within a 5 mile radius ? get it together heb and get Apple Pay!!!

The pharmacy texting service confirmed my refill request Tuesday evening at 7pm. They said I it would be ready on Thursday after 10am. I am at the store now at 2:30 pm and a 30 minute drive. They don’t have the whole order and I must wait an hour to get 1/3 of my refill.

If I could give a negative star I would to this location specifically. I went to the deli and ordered from a EXTREMELY rude black lady. I asked for my black forest ham shaved and she rolled her eyes at me and made a comment under her breathe to other employees. When I received my "shaved" ham she threw it towards me and didn't even apologize or acknowledge it. I used to get exceptional service here about a year ago and ever since they have been terrible... I will be taking my business to kroger where the employees are actually nice and take care of you. They seem a lot more worried about their phones and other stuff then their job.

LOVE H-E-B! Wish we had them in New Mexico! We always get the all natural deli meats, pasture raised eggs & other healthy options :)
