La Joya Area Federal Credit Union is a nonprofit financial institution that serves everyone who lives, works or has immediate family within the Hidalgo County boundaries.
When a person joins the Credit Union, he or she becomes a member/owner, not a customer.
At the same time, it is members not outside investors, who pool their saving, lend money to one another, and provide other financial services in a cooperative relationship.
