Val herself is probably the best treasure of all. She knows the story behind everything she sells, and she wants to know your stories as well. “As retired couple we are trying to downsize. As apartment residents, we are not in position to have garage sale and do not want to post for sale online. Barnie's offered the best solution. It's on consignment, but our stuff sold quickly. Yes we might have got more $ ,but we had no work to do. You can take to him and get 50% of sale price or he will pick up and you get 40% of sale price. Very good program for anyone, but especially good for Seniors. If you need to sell something, check Barnie's. It works. Ask for Arnold.”

“This place is huge. I came here on a whim and it is a hidden gem. Lots of clothes, shoes, furniture and even sanitized mattresses. All laid out nicely. Wednesday is 1/2 price clothing and shoes. Friendly folks too. It can be pretty busy on Wednesday so keep that in mind when stopping by. It can take a while to check out.”
“I love shopping here and usually find something. However I noticed the prices have increased quite a bit on many things. Not sure I’ll be coming around as much. If you catch the discounts you may be able to get something at a decent price. They have alot of nice furniture if that’s what you’re looking for. The employees here are always working hard and very friendly to customers. I only gave 4 stars due to the prices going up too high. Otherwise its a pretty organized store with friendly staff. And Salvation Army is a good cause.”
