What a quaint property and area! It kind of reminded me of Hawaii and Coronado Island in San Diego. I love the antique feeling in the Inn. The king size bed with the plaza view was superb in room 426. I loved listening to the band — dancing in the plaza as well as dancing in my hotel room. So charming of a place!
Nearby activities: The Boardwalk is a fun environment and NASA’s Johnson Space Center is not far. There’s also a quaint town with boutique shops in League City, which is also close.
Walkability: Some great eats are within walking distance.
Food & drinks: Kemah Steak Company has the best prime rib (I prefer medium rare) and ask for the magic garlic butter. The salad red wine vinaigrette was truly delicious and so were the 3-cheese grits. The sautéed spinach was perfectly cooked — not soggy.

Wonderful and we had a balcony and all we did, was sit out on our balcony and enjoyed the music ? ? with our favorite wine ?. The pool was awesome.
We will definitely go back, service was impeccable ?.

Rooms: The rooms have a wonderful view
Nearby activities: It’s very loud a live band is playing all day mostly Saturday and Sunday it’s more relaxed
Walkability: You can walk to fun games or to your nearest toiletries there are many different stores and little shops walking distance from one another and the restaurants too
Food & drinks: The food is terrible if you have high expectations for seafood tone it down five whole notches they need chefs and they need help

Don't use the vending machines. They don't work correctly. Rooms are outdated. TV is from the 90's

No Microwave
No Breakfast
Stained covers
Vending machine was either empty or taking your money
If you're going to hike the price up when you're having an event at least upgrade the properties amenities. Over all nice place just need a face-lift for them prices.
Nearby activities: Fun for all
Safety: Police on every post
Walkability: Everything is right there on the boardwalk
Food & drinks: Every year for 2 yrs we have tried a different restaurant and I must say the food is very good.

Love this hotel, rooms was amazing with enough parking and close to all the bars in kemah. Not walking distance from the bar but not a long drive at all, still don't recommend drinking and trying to drive to this hotel but if you choose to walk to the hotel it won't be a far walk.

DO NOT LET THE WEB PICTURES DECEIVE YOU…THE ROOMS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FURNITURE IS SEVERELY OUTDATED!!! GROSSLY OVER-PRICED and I’m well traveled. This is borderline CRIMINAL!
I brought my mom here to celebrate her birthday as well as mine too! The BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER! I could not ever imagine Landry’s would ever support, partner and/or produce this establishment. $335/night for a less than lackluster stay. This facility should be SHUT DOWN. THIS IS A MOTEL… JUST DISGUSTING AND QUITE FRANKLY, DESPICABLE ! There is NO FULL and COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY!!!
- Rooms are EXTREMELY OUTDATED!!!!
- Room smells …assume carpet needs deep cleaning or simply replaced
- No more LG remotes to replace the one in the room
- Limited channels (missing a couple) 3-20
- 3 channels don’t have volume at all
- No channel guide
- Desk clerk doesn’t know the channel line up
- Cannot get NETFLIX, no HDMI availability
- Already moved rooms due to smell
- The refrigerator did not work properly (luke warm at best)
- Have to sleep with pants on…I know something was biting me!
This ENTIRE EXPERIENCE IS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS AND INSANITY AT ITS BEST FOR ANYONE TO EVER SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! LEGALIZED ROBBERY! Just HORRIFIC!!!
Rooms: GROSSLY OUTDATED AND OVERPRICED !!! KEEP SCROLLING…DO NOT BOOK !

New Years Eve night 2023 we arrived at the Inn to find our rooms were booked wrong. The Inn front desk employees and manager went above and beyond. The largest suite they had available down at the Aquarium end was open and they gave it to us for the same price. Beautiful accommodations and excellent way to handle a situation. Thank you.
Nearby activities: Everything the Boardwalk offers is a short walk away.

Do not plan a stay here if you want to get some sleep! The boardwalk train runs right by the balconies and will run past 11pm, it’s very loud. There is also live music which you can hear from the room until late. Considering that this is a family friendly activity, I really would thing they’d consider quiet hours. Very disappointed.

It would have been great if I had known that they were going to have music playing and a train tooting around until 10:00 p.m. I have two little ones and I've been trying to get them in bed to no avail. I would love to get some sleep myself but here I am listening to smell that funky music which I can feel through the building while trying to go to bed.
Nearby activities: It's at kemah so there's a bunch of things to do. Lots of little shops and there's a little amusement park too which is pretty cool.

I feel like I got scammed. $431 for a Valentine’s Day special. There was nothing special about it except one long stem rose, champagne, and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries. I’ve stayed in better rooms at La Quinta. Disappointing.
