Silverton was recommended to us by good family friends, and we were so pleased with our build experience. It's nerve wracking and feels risky to trust a home builder, especially with all the horror stories of builders who take advantage of their clients and produce shoddy work.Never once did we feel that any team member at Silverton was trying to pull the wool over our eyes. They were clear, honest, gracious, patient, flexible, kind, and acted with integrity the entire way through. There were little hiccups here and there (as one should expect with any build), but those were handled quickly and professionally. I am a particular person and had a lot of ideas about how I wanted things to look. All my ideas were welcomed with a "we can definitely do that" attitude, and I was never made to feel that I was being a bother.I appreciate the relationships Silverton has with their subcontractors, as many of them have worked with Silverton for several years (good sign!). The in-house interior design team is so fun to work with and have fantastic sources and options. If there was something particular I was looking for, they did the work to find it and/or let me bring in the things I had sourced.Then, of course, we love the home they built for us. We have been living here for almost three months and it felt like home immediately. Any little issue has been fixed right away by their punch guy. It is an absolute haven for us and a place we never plan to leave!

Silverton Custom Homes was recommended to me by a friend in the real estate business. This whole experience could not have run any better. Jason and the team did an amazing job to meet our needs (and whims!) We always felt heard, understood and very well advised. We appreciated Silverton team’s work ethic and incredible kindness. Our project manager, Coby, was just the best in liaising with us and his contractors. We are strongly recommending Silverton Custom Homes to be your next home builder.

Silverton was our custom home builder. Since my husband lived in PA, it was crucial that we chose a builder who we felt comfortable to meet our needs from such a great distance. Through visits and many conversations we were able to have complete confidence that they would do everything the way we wanted. Jason was very patient with any concerns we had and any and all issues were handled professionally. The whole experience was wonderful@

We had great experience buying a lot from Silverton. After going through the budget meeting and settling on the architect, we were very excited to start building our new home. Well. We got a call from Silverton that they decided not to build our house and it was the owner's decision. We got a $250 refund check yesterday for the initial meeting that we paid for.

I purchased a brand new Silverton home in August 2019 and have not been impressed. The customer service is severely lacking and the quality of their product has been dissappointing.My driveway and the stucco on the exterior of my home are full of cracks after only one year and half of my house does not cool properly - the kind of issues that I thought I was avoiding by purchasing brand new.Both of my ceiling fan/light fixtures in my main living area stopped working properly shortly after I moved in and they chose to wait until the very end of my 1-year builder warranty to replace them. I can only assume it’s so that they do not end up replacing them again when they fail for the second time within that year. They are ordered from china and the quality is as you would expect. So, I have been having people over to see my first home with broken fixtures... only to, in the end, have to address both fixtures myself as they would not provide me with a ceiling fan that is anywhere near comparable to what I purchased and they hung the other light fixture crooked and sideways instead of using a wedge on the vaulted ceiling.I had chosen to overlook the rookie mistakes throughout such as TP holders being put on backwards and kitchen wall tiles not being offset but at this point I will admit that it has all contributed to my dissatisfaction. Only to be made worse by rude and unprofessional maintenance + its like pulling teeth getting anyone out here. Save yourself the headache and go with another builder.

We moved into our Silverton custom built home in June of 2018 and we are so happy with our beautiful house! We purchased a lot in Jonestown because we fell in love with the area, but due to the rocky and steep terrain on the site, I was concerned about how we were going to build a home.

We moved into our Silverton custom built home in June of 2018 and we are so happy with our beautiful house! We purchased a lot in Jonestown because we fell in love with the area, but due to the rocky and steep terrain on the site, I was concerned about how we were going to build a home. We saw Silverton as we were driving through Jonestown and decided to stop into their office. From the point of our initial discussion, we were so happy that we had decided to stop by. We had considered several options for building, including working separately with an architect and then having a builder build the home, as well as considered being an "owner builder" and contracting ourselves. From both a financial and practical perspective, I am so happy we decided to choose Silverton. Silverton brings so much value to the table by being experienced with the difficult terrain in hill country, as well as having long relationships with many of the contractors in the area. Additionally, they had their own architect who was very easy to work with and less expensive than the architecture Firm we considered to design our home. The owner, Mike, and our site lead Lee were so easy to work with, and I truly enjoyed every meeting we had. It was easy to communicate during the entire process, we could get a hold of anyone in the office very easily, and calls, emails and texts were all responded to promptly. They were transparent about pricing and budget, and the only budget variance we had was one that they had made very clear from the beginning was a potential overrun item (we had a difficult site for septic). We had three design meetings for the home, and the recommendations provided by Silverton were excellent. The designers know where to provide recommendations, had excellent suggestions, and knew exactly which design points we needed to spend a lot of time on. We are constantly remarking on how glad we are that they had us carefully examine our wall paint colors in every possible light :) I continue to be impressed with the diligence Silverton provided in building the home. There is clear quality in all aspects of the house, even tiny details such as the built in shelving in my office, edging on tiles, and high quality cabinet work. As we live in the home we are constantly noticing the tiny details that were done extremely well. As we have lived in the home some minor items came to light that needed to be fixed or adjusted, and Silverton promptly coordinated with the contractors. This after-care makes me grateful we chose a custom home builder as opposed to doing "owner builder" and having to try to coordinate with each individual contractor ourselves. Obviously, we enjoyed our experience with Silverton and have recommended them frequently for anyone looking to build a custom home in this area!
