We checked in at night to get some rest before heading back home. The room smells bad, the blackout curtain, closet doors and wall by the bathroom sink in the bedroom was all stained and as if its blood stain, scary! The hallway smells marihuana. It seemed like the strong smell was coming from the next door room. Very disappointed. I won’t stay here anymore.

Not pet friendly the hotel staff and long term guests will cause problems for guests with pets. Pet fee $125.00 other guests and staff will harass people with pets and lie, my pets kept staring at the room door because of other guests walking by whistling and making sounds in the hallway, I suppose to try to get the pets to bark to cause trouble for pet owners. Not a good place to stay with pets I suppose it’s a lot of people who live at this hotel who don’t like pets.

I stayed at this hotel last week. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, warmth, and just plain attractiveness of the property!!!! I loved it and would 100% come back!!!!!

Pathetic experience of life staying at Soka suites. Booking was done 20 days ago and when I arrived, it was showing not booked. Staff is very rude with customer. Elevator was not working since 10 days of my stay and no one is being bothered about that much.

Absolutely loved this place until they were argued with me over being pet friendly. A place that charges you 125.00 non refundable fee for your pets IS NOT pet friendly. Then they want to charge you 100.00 for essentials. I never got the money back from the last time I stayed, why would I pay it again? So either way if you travel with pets this is not the place for you. Don't expect the 100.00 for essentials to returned because it will not happen. Stayed here for 2 months before and tried to get my taxes back on that stay and couldn't even get a return phone call or email for the authorization. It's ridiculous to the point that I feel it's necessary to leave this review because i dont want anyone else having to go through the same thing I have.

Atrocious and very bad service. Imagine arriving from the UK and the Soka suites staff telling you your booking is cancelled. Booking was made more than two months earlier and there was no notification sent that the booking has been cancelled. I have a family with large suitcases and it was extremely inconvenient. Rooms are dirty and not cleaned, floors were extremely dirty. My son had bites on his arm. Really the worst place to stay and not recommended at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Worst place I have ever stayed.

Easily one of the best stays that I've ever had. I was surprised by the size of the room, how quiet it was, and the washer/dryer combo in it. The staff was polite and helpful. This is my new top of the list for staying in Dallas.

Stayed here for a few days this week and I must say it was one of my best travel experiences of my life. The hotel was only 10 minutes from the airport. Beautiful modern lobby when you walk in. Front desk staff was very pleasant and accommodating to all of my needs. When I walked into my room I was blown away by the at-home concept. I truly felt like I was in my own little apartment. Washer and Dryer in the room and full service kitchen was amazing. Hotel was extremely clean and had a good smell throughout the hallways. I am very happy I chose Soka Suites and will definitely be making this place my preferred hotel when I come to Dallas !!!!!

We used Soka a few times before for the kitchen and bedroom features but won't again. The clientele is questionable, but their prices don't reflect that as they are getting ridiculously high. We couldn't get them to extend the room one more night even though we made Herculean efforts to do so. Poor customer service...

I was in town for a food show, so having a full kitchen was great. It did seem like some guests were residents, and the room my boss originally got smelled like smoke and had a hole punched in the wall.My room was fine, the couch wasn't very comfortable, but I didn't spend much time sitting on it. At first, I didn't realize there was a second bedroom with a full-size bathroom in my room, which I didn't go in at all.The bath tub faucet didn't want to switch to shower without a lot of persuading, and for some reason, the light in the bathroom is motion activated, so when I was in the shower with the curtain closed the light would turn off after about 30 seconds. There also weren't any hooks for the towels.The lobby was kind of strange, with just a couple of people sitting at regular desks, and they didn't seem very eager to assist guests. At one point, we had an entire interaction with staff where they didn't say a single word.For the price, it was a good deal, so I can't complain too much, I think with a few adjustments to how things are managed, they could probably charge double.

Great stay- rooms are apartment suites with full kitchens including all kitchenware and cookware! The suite and hotel are extremely clean, quiet, and safe. The hotel staff seems to be 24/7, the property is gated and locked at night, you need a key card to get in the lobby door at night also. The staff has been friendly and accommodating, no issues bringing my two dogs who meet the hotels dog policy.
