“I have been visiting all of the Dollar General's in my area to see what all the hype is about. I see folks on YouTube stacking coupons and saving money.I have visited this store a couple of times. The staff is friendly and the store is a bit chaotic. The home decor aisle has rugs on the ground so it's hard to push a cart through. Other aisles are blocked by carts. It's messy. I was able to find what I was looking for, however I did notice that not all of the toys are in the toy aisle. They're at the top of the shelves across the store.I ended up doing a return after not correctly reading a receipt and the staff was helpful about it.”

“Great selection of goods at affordable prices. I wish they had better quality fresh Garlic and Ginger though, it was more on the tiny an scrawny side. I'm used to getting them at the Asian Supermarkets where they are fresh and large. I buy the fresh cilantro's and scallion here too. I just which that the cilantro's included the roots (they are great to use in your soups).Ground Beef is a bit pricey for the extra fat thats included.I usually get 90% Lean Ground beef at Sams Club for similar price for the family pack. But overall, clean store and pretty well stocked.”
“Affordable prices - however - be prepared to deal with a store manager that is rude. I was shopping there last night and thought I had an error on my bill (I didn’t). My cashier was very sweet - looked at my bill & called the mgr to issue a refund on something I thought had been hit twice. The manager comes up - speaks to her in Spanish - the cashier is responding in English (my language) & the manager continues to speak to her in Spanish. I don’t understand a lot - but she asked the cashier if I was lying or not telling the truth - the cashier responded (again in English) that my cart was right there as evidence. The mgr continued to speak in Spanish. Then turned to me and spoke perfect English. All I can say is HOW RUDE. She has NO BUSINESS being a manager if she is going to be that condescending to customers. I KNEW she knew English because the cashier was speaking to her in English yet she continued to speak Spanish - a language I don’t understand. Great job in customer service from the cashier. She treats the customer with integrity and respect. The manager needs to go back to school for training. The cashier is more deserving of a manager position.”

We have been faithful clients of yours for quite some time and will continue to do so.My complaint is about the restaurant that you guys opened in the store located on 183 and MacArthur Blvd in Irving, TX.If you are going to open a food restaurant...better make sure you are serving what you are selling. Your barbacoa it's the worst that I have ever tasted. You can tell that the beef was boiled and not slow cooked, and it had no flavor. You need an experienced cook for that. The pork rinds or strips are not cooked properly, their looks and flavor don't appeal to me. If that's good enough for you, fine, but I'm not getting near your restaurant anymore. The whole thing defeats the purpose of selling food.”

“I didnt dine in. I just picked up a menudo which had maiz and overall tasted good. They do have the option to add "pata" if you like. The reason I know is because she asked me. Didnt have the sit down restaurant type of feel but they def have tables to dine in at. I wouldnt bring a date here tho lol”
