My husband, son-in-law and and daughter come here all the time. I shop here too. This mixed neighborhood loves everyone. Houston is the most internationalist city in the USA! They treat everyone great no matter what color skin you have or how you are dressed. I hope to be invited to do silhouettes in the store. I will bring my grandchild in today for her 7 1/2 year birthday gift. It’s a great toy store.

The best gift store for kids, babies, and great books selections. Looking for Unique and different birthday gift, a baby shower, or just to spend or treat a child to a special gift or a great book The Store features great books for holidays and special occasions, Gift wrap gift bags it's all about the presentation and they do a fantastic job. New to the Store is the chocolate candy bar/showcase. Also sign up for the reward program which offers cash to your upcoming visit. It's a great value program.

It was our first time here. We thought it was going to be a normal experience shopping through all the selections. We’re used to modern day not even be greeted at the doors— but hey it’s a kid store so right of the back we had higher expectations. I try not to entertain racial politics, until it’s done to my family and I. We’re a Latino family, so racism is pretty common against this culture as well. When we first came in, no one greeted us (like I said no surprise there) we went to their candy section and disregard their striking high prices we didn’t mind it. It was more so as we were walking away from the candy section there was a group of staff members that made a pretty shocking comment “Ugh, we need to kidnap people” my wife looked back smiled concerning and awkwardly.. they didn’t seem to care that they said that in a loud tone (ironically we were the only family within feet distance of them)… IN FRONT OF THEM. So yeah.. we walked further away. Another thing I noticed anybody else around us or that came in after us was greeted and given the “Tom Foolery” experience of helping them. No one ever approached us to even assist, ask questions just the disturbing indirect comments. Finally when we get to the front register I was finally fed up because one of the ladies that participated in that comment that was said earlier—— in a high pitch voice greeted another customer, so I exclaimed loudly “That’s interesting! We didn’t get greeted like that” it wasn’t until after I said that, the cashier actually was nice and asked us if this was our first time (mind you this was AFTER she was finished scanning our items)In short… if you are any shade darker then Western European (WHITE) DONT COME HERE.

This place is my go-to for all my gifts! I love how they gift wrap free of charge!They also have a wonderful birthday registry program that is perfect for anyone!!Highly recommend visiting this place for all your gifting needs!

One of the best toy stores I've been to in AGES. Tomfoolery is everything you'd want a toy store to be. They had so much to look at and choose from that I was beginning to feel overwhelmed. Displays were organized well; I was greeted immediately upon entry, and I found dozens of unique items/toys. I will be coming back frequently!

Everyone is always so helpful! I just purchased a gift online and will pick it up tomorrow. It's the best of both worlds- shopping local and avoiding crowded stores. Their website is extensive and very helpful in finding the right gift.

I come here for all my bday party gifts. They have cool stuff you won't find anyplace else, ages from baby up to about 10 years old, boys and girls alike! FREE gift wrapping too!! Frequent shopper rewards and coupons. Huge selection. They moved locations- now a few doors down at 4858 Beechnut.

This used to be my go to toy store. It is expensive but I always wanted to support them . I have been shopping here since the day they opened. However recently I had a bad experience . One of the employees was extremely rude and huffed and puffed when I asked her to put some ribbon on the bag. I didn't realize that was such a task especially since I spent alot of money there that day . I was treated so poorly that I immediately realized I don't want to shop there anymore. It's a shame , I've been shopping there for so many years and for so many birthdays . Even though I know I can get a lot of those items from Amazon for alot cheaper I thought I would support my neighborhood store. However, that last experience really upset me and I don't feel that anyone even cares to reach out after I told the owner . After all my years and support I can now honestly say I will take my business elsewhere and so will my siblings.

Wonderful store! They have so many great products with a huge range that could fit any budget. The staff is so helpful and friendly! If you ever need to get a children's book, they will provide recommendations and suggestions that are really specific. This is my go-to store anytime I need to get a gift for kids. I've also bought several fidget toys for myself and they're great. Just going into the store can make you smile!
