On a Thursday afternoon this passed week I had went to Randall’s with my mother to do some shopping as we regularly do and stopped by the Starbucks coffee near the entrance of the store to see something that had been very upsetting to me. An older women with glasses and short hair whose name tag read “Nelly” had been speaking very harshly to a young Latina girl (who I assume was also working there) that began to cry (as a latina and customer myself this made me extremely upset) when we had approached the stand, the older woman had looked like she was in a panic and hurriedly came to “console” the young lady. Me and my mother had ordered our drinks from the older lady despite her bad attitude and afterwards we had walked away. Although, my mother had told me she couldn’t leave with the thought of the mistreatment that the young teen was experiencing , especially if it’s from a coworker. I had personally walked up to the young girl who was in tears and asked her if she was alright and if I should report her, in which her answer had been that everything was alright and she had thanked me for asking very politely. At the same time this “Nelly” person was purposely trying to butt in between us as I tried to talk to her. after trying my best to speak with the young girl about what happened she had left with another worker who hopefully took care of the situation. I think this behavior is EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE from employees and I hope that Randall’s or Starbucks looks into taking action against this woman.

Today is Sunday morning, July 7, 2024, and I am shopping at a Randall's location in Houston for its touted "7-Grain" bread to make a sandwich. I had to throw away my old loaf of bread because without preservatives, it became moldy in Houston's hot and humid climate.
First, I drive to Randall's at Westheimer Road. There is only one loaf of 7-Grain left and it was baked yesterday. It is only about 4-1/2 inches high and looks "deflated." I ask the bakers when today's fresh loaves will be out of the oven. They claim that they don't know and that I should simply purchase the loaf that was baked yesterday.
Next, I drive to Randall's at Memorial Drive. Per the label (see photo), it came out of the oven this very morning! Not only that, it rises to 5-inches high (see photo)!
I thanked the lovely lady in the bakery and will continue to shop at Randall's at Memorial Drive!

This store is unbelievably expensive and there produce are all rotten , The fruit that I’ve seen displayed such a oranges are unbelievably old and rotten

I used to order here online atleast once every one to two weeks, they had decent sales prices but a lot of times they seemed like they were just marked up, which was fine. But over the last six months I noticed that they only send the oldest and nearly expired produce and milk, I learned not to order a lot of things like avocados and onions unless I wanted them rotten, which was fine.
Most of the time using points on the app I could get free items, they never sent any of them, which was also fine.
I had some other problems with them, but I liked the lucerne brand and the rest of it usually wasn't a big deal. But this week they had a sale event, I picked out my items and ordered but they only had delivery for the next day. Which was fine. Until I got a call early in the morning and was told the sale would not be honored. The woman was rude on the phone and they were aware they were at fault for not being able to deliver the same day. I've spent a lot of money with them over the last 6 months but they just lost a customer over this interaction.

Always clean and well stocked. The only Randall's so far where I can consistently find my Soleil sparkling water in my favorite flavor (blood orange) in a 24 pack that saves me both trips and money
