I’ve been coming to this cleaner for all my dry cleaning and they’ve always done a great job. After my wedding, my wedding dress was quite dirty and I decided to bring it to Midtown Cleaners with the rest of my dry cleaning. I was a bit skeptical but they assured me they could do it and had cleaned wedding dresses before. I just picked it up today and I’m incredibly happy with the results. That dress had all sorts of stains from dragging on the dance floor to my spray tan wearing off on the bosom, but I didn’t notice any lingering stains when I picked it up. Really looks good as new. Can’t recommend enough!

Terrible experience. It was the first time, and I asked them to sew back the inner liner of a jacket under the armpits. They told me that they couldn't tell me the price of the repair. I had to pay 54$ for a tear repair on a 100$ jacket, cause they said they had to "redo the whole inner liner. Imagine if you went to a Mechanic shop for an oil change and the day after they would say: "your transmission was gone, we replaced it, now you own us 4000$". I will never come back, that's for sure.

I had never thought to have my comforters cleaned professionally, but wanted to give it a try after learning my king sized down alternative comforter really doesn’t get washed properly in such a compact home washer. I did some research & decided to get it professionally cleaned at Midtown Cleaners. The staff was absolutely wonderful! Everyone I encountered was knowledgeable, helpful, & attentive at both drop off and pickup. I was also surprised by the quick service time & the exceptional cleaning job performed on my comforter. It truly has never been cleaner & I will never wash another comforter on my own at home! I’ll be sure to bring all 3 to Midtown every time I need them cleaned! Best service & best staff in the area! I WILL NOT RETURN OR RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE I KNOW. As an attorney at a large law firm and a woman of color, to be spoken to in the manner that I was by the very owner, Mark, was quite appalling and disgusting. When I first started going to this business, I was unaware that Mark was the owner, because each and every time I had entered into this business and he was the only person present, he was unkind and unwelcoming. However, it was not until I had a question regarding my clothing order and its pricing, that I found out the sad truth. When I was picking up my clothing order, I inquired about what service was done and the pricing. Because the two women working at that time were unable to answer my questions, they advised that I return the next day to speak to the owner. The next morning when I was getting ready to drive to this business, I received a phone call from the owner, Mark. To my surprise, instead of Mark asking me (as the customer) what my questions or concerns were, he stated that he heard I had a problem and then began ranting off some things that he clearly wanted to get off of his chest. As I tried to inform him that I only had a question, he cut me off mid sentence and started yelling that he is the owner of this business, he owns many businesses, he charges x,y, z, no one is going to tell him what to do, and many other ego-driven statements. I was shocked at the way he was communicating with me and unsure what he could be so upset about. I asked him, was he going to give me an opportunity to explain what my question was or was he going to continue to talk over me. He paused for a moment as if he was going to let me continue to speak, but again... as I started to speak, he cut me off and begin shouting. As part of this rant, he yelled at me THAT HE ISN'T GOING TO GIVE ME ANY HANDOUTS OR DISCOUNTS. Again, as I am an ESTEEMED LAWYER AT A LARGE LAW FIRM and A WOMAN OF COLOR, this comment was EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL AND INAPPROPRIATE. I had NEVER asked for a handout and I definitely DON'T need one. The duration of the conversation continued in this manner, where he was clearly combative, argumentative, and ready to fight with a customer rather than address customer concerns. The only reason this conversation came to an end, was because I ENDED IT. As an owner of a business, to INITIATE this confrontation and be DISRESPECTFUL, DISMISSIVE, COMBATIVE, and UNKIND, is shocking. I have never felt so disrespected by anyone in my life. This is why I was particularly surprised to be treated in this way by the very OWNER OF THIS BUSINESS, Mark. As you read each of the negative reviews, the owner's response to those reviews is consistent with this behavior I'm stating in mine. All of this stemmed from my ONE question, whether my clothes were steamed and what the pricing was for steaming. I WILL NEVER BE A CUSTOMER OF A BUSINESS THAT DOES NOT VALUE ME OR MY MONEY.

I recently switched dry cleaners about a month ago and decided to try Midtown Cleaners. The ratings were decent and the location was about a mile away from my job downtown so it seemed like a good start. I can say that so far I am pleasantly surprised with the customer service, the friendliness, the turnaround and most of all the finished product of my dry cleaning. They took several opportunities to replace some buttons on my shirts, free of charge! What a pleasant surprise! I am completely satisfied with Midtown Cleaners and they have earned my business for the foreseeable future!!
