In a convenient location in the heights. Not the most comfortable atmosphere, it looks like a clothing store inside with a coffee shop in the front. This place has your typical coffee shop ambiance, nothing special about it. There was one barista working when I visited. I tried an iced teddy graham coffee. It was not good. Would I come back? That would be a no.

I've been a loyal customer of this place for years, always enjoying my coffee and browsing their cute stuff. But my recent experience left me deeply disappointed. I finally found something I couldn't resist two weeks ago, but when I got it home, it just didn't fit right. Not a problem, I thought, since their flyer clearly stated returns and exchanges were welcome within 30 days. Yet, when I tried to return it before the deadline, the manager shut me down coldly, insisting they only accepted returns within 7 days. She even had the audacity to claim they've had the same policy for the past 7 years! I had to drive all the way back home to fetch the flyer just to prove her wrong. And instead of admitting fault, she brushed it off as a mistake and kept arguing. It's heartbreaking that a store I once loved for its charm and pricey items would treat its loyal customers with such disregard and disrespect.

Worst experience with order and returns. Had to constantly follow up with no response. They promised visa return and gave back store credits after 2 months which I cant use, wont recommend.

I love this artisan store/coffee bar. There's a few tables, chairs and a couch for seating and doing work or reading. I like their Not a Macchiato with oat milk. They sell everything from children and adult clothing, bags, jewelry (permanent and regular), candles, scents, stationary, books, teas, clay mugs/jewelry dishes, and wellness products. There's even a candle bar where you can sign up for a candle making class. While you shop, you can grab coffee or tea or order at the window to-go, if you don't want to go inside. I can find fair-priced clothing here once in a while like their denim skirts and jeans. Surprisingly, the jeans are a good length for my petite frame. There's a small parking lot, or if you're walking, it's also a stone's throw detour from the Heights trail and other shops and eateries along Yale where you can park and walk across. You can tap to pay for purchases.

Surprisingly solid coffee game, nice to sit along window to watch the heights scene go by, minute selection of tasty pastries (had a scone the size of silver dollar) & some tempting merchandise for the lady on your list. Parking can be tight, but I will return just for another Not A Macchiato!
