This is the perfect park for a cute picnic date!! My boyfriend and I went in early November and the weather was perfect. Also the whole grassy area was perfectly shaded by around 4 in the afternoon! The view was beautiful and the environment very relaxing!

It was our first visit to Houston and we brought the scooters hoping to be able to explore the city. Our first ride started in the park, and I can't say enough about how beautiful it is with the river flowing through. Everything was clean, and you could tell people really use the space to relax and be outside. The view when we returned to the car tonight was breathtaking!

This place is known for the 4th of July concerts but it is a beautiful park with nice trails where you can see the skyline of Houston. It's always clean and doesn't smell like an urban park. The air is clean, no wild animals. A true Houston treasure!Dog-friendliness: Little doggies everywhere!

Little gem hidden next to downtown! The view is so nice! And there's a lot of space for the kids to run/play. Or simply lay down or have a pic nic kinda afternoon. The only problem is the parking, but if you don't mind to park somewhere else and walk. You will not be disappointed

This is one of my favorite parks. Clean restrooms and parking is usually a breeze. There's a kids area along with a skate park, bike and walking trails. Perfect place for a picnic.
