The museum was smaller than I anticipated but I loved all of the exhibits! I appreciated the sleek looking design of the outdoor space of the museum and the colorful exhibits they had on display. Located on a perfect spot in the Museum District - easily walk to the other museums in the area. Highly recommend to make this a stop on a multi museum day!

Staff was very friendly and admission was free but the museum is only two rooms, with only 5 exhibits/ art pieces. You can easily view the whole museum in under 10 minutes. But other than that not much to see.

They are getting a 1 star because some of the staff were really rude. They need happy people not people that get bothered for everything. They don’t even smile when you smile at them or say hi. We will never visit again.

As much as we all want to pretend to like this kind of art, it's just pretentious and boring. You will be reminded, though, that if you don't "get" it then that's because you're not an artist. They constantly will remind you to TRUST ARTISTS. Don't trust your own opinion about whats in front of you; you just need to TRUST ARTISTS!
At least it's free and the building itself is excellent architecture worth seeing.

Came here as it was listed as a Hurricane Beryl shelter for cooling and charging phone. Came here and was advised it is not a cooling place, but I could enter. I had my closed water bottle and was allowed in the front door with it but once I got down to the TV Screen part I sit at a broken table that almost fell the only other thing in the room was Cardboard boxes and someone approached me and said I had to throw my water bottle away or leave. It was sealed I wasn’t drinking it but that I couldn’t have it because it could still and cause damage! The ONLY thing in the room was an already broken table and cardboard boxes and an old couch covered in a white stained sheet, I was sitting a the broke table!!! Either way this place isn’t a place to come for cooling off or anything else for that matter!

Sure, here is your sentence with improved grammar:
"What a wonderful experience! Community engagement in the historical past of Freedmen's Town, combined with the promise of the future of the Contemporary Arts Exhibitions. I have been to the facility many times in the past for various exhibitions, but this time I felt more connected."

Took me a minute to recognize where the entrance was, but I enjoyed the exhibits once we got inside. Cool space to see art focused on super local and historical context based work.

Although not a fan of contemporary art, it was a lovely little museum with interesting exhibits. Can't argue with the free admission. 2 levels doesn't take long to go through.
