This place was good in past years but not now. The chop beef did not have a taste. The potato was boiled instead of bake. I ordered chicken fried steak sandwiches and received chicken fried chicken sandwich. Very disappointed!!!!

Meat was very dry. Seemed as they cooked it a day before, stored in fridge for a long while, then, microwaved for you. Portions were undesirable. Taste was "ok". Will tell friend, but, to be cautious.

Got lunch takeout for ten folks at work. The ribs and steak fried chicken were great. The half chicken had the right spices and was moist. It worked out great for the work lunch.

I was warned by my family that this place has changed. I wanted to try it for myself and I wish I would've just listened to them and the reviews. I got a two meat plate with two sides to go. The green beans were canned and bland. The corn looked shriveled up and old. The meat was "tender" but covered up with sauce. Everything appeared to be old and possibly reheated. When I got to the restaurant, it was completely empty.. on a Saturday the weekend before 4th of July. My niece got the BBQ Baked Potato and it was along the same lines of old food, reheated or kept warm. Afterwards, I had a terrible stomach ache and then some.. I will never come here ever again and I hope that you do what I didn't do.. listen to family, friends and Yelp Reviews..

Totally delicious! We were there on "all-you-can -eat" rib night. There was a waitress that ran her tail off keeping up with all her customers! Sadly, I forgot her name. The side dishes were all tasty. They have incredible ribs, brisket, sausage and bbq sauce. Plenty of "fixins" for bakers and sandwiches as well. We love eating her and plan our big family outings here frequently!

These ribs are fye. Its only 2 spots i can go to for decent ribs n this is one of the 2. Plus their pricing is very reasonable. Wish there were more vegetation on the menu. But if u dont care for a salad with it. They will make u satisfied and happy

I really felt at home at this place. It had many things that I long for in a good BBQ place. Friendly waitresses, good country music coming through the speakers, reasonable prices and decent food. I had three meat choices. Ribs were small and a bit dry. "meat" was fairly tender, but nothing special, turkey was good. Their BBQ sauce requested on the side was too molasses-based for me and lacked any kick or twang. Overly sweet. Sides were fried okra, which was good, and beans which were passable. Pickles and onion served as well...and two pieces of light bread. All for like 15 dollars. I will definitely eat here again despite my lack of enthusiasm for the plate. I want to try some other menu items such as their burgers or loaded baked potatoes. Again, I love this place for the friendly, family-owned vibe that I get. It will bring me back!

Its in a rough side of Houston just quick in and out but fuel was $1.99. Parking lot was really small but clean.

We had heard that this place offered turkey smoking services so we got us a turkey and dropped it off. It has zero smoke flavor, it's completely dry and tasteless. I could have done a better job just cooking it in the oven at home. $35 absolutely wasted. Very disappointed in results!

Great neighborhood BBQ joint off of the beaten I-10 east corridor. Amazing fried okra and bonfire style beans. I liked the ribs a bit more than the brisket but both were excellent!
