If I could give this place a zero, I would. They have had my truck since May 28th, and today is July 3rd. They initially did over $13,000 in work on my truck. I still don't believe it needed to be done, but we had a warranty, so they did it. They did a transmission flush as part of the work. Within a week, my transmission started to act up, and my engine idled high. When we brought it in, they said that was normal. Never was before they did work; either way, the transmission was shifting horribly. They then said my transmission was bad and it was a nissan thing. Again, it wasn't an issue only once they did a transmission flush. The transmission was covered under warranty again (thank goodness). They got a transmission, and supposedly, the transmission sent was bad.
I don't have a way to prove any different, but I truly don't trust them based on their incompetence. We are now having to wait another week before another one comes. We are now out over a month (will be 7 weeks total) without our vehicle and have had to rent a vehicle. Our warranty covers one week, and the supplier is covering one week. None of it covers our time without our vehicle. Anytime my wife calls, they act like nothing is their fault. I was going to wait to get my truck back before posting this, but at this point, I am over it. Do not recommend this place to anyone. Christian Brothers in Spring Hill, TN is a scam. I hope their corporate office does something about this. We shall wait and see.

I was recommended a local CBA shop in Tennessee by a professor of mine. The staff seemed friendly and helpful, turn around time was quick and pricing was a bit higher than expected but with fast times I was willing to pay it. The first repair was late August of 2022 and that repair went smoothly. I then had a misfire and took my car to the shop 3 separate times detailing what was happening, how it happened, when it happened and how to make it happen. The shop confirmed they had been driving the car, checked the plugs and wires and that they could not figure out the cause. When another mechanic removed the plugs he said it was clear they had never been removed prior and suggested replacing plugs and wires which fixed the misfire. Recently January of 2023, I had them do my brakes and a brake flush, and a helicoil install around middle of April 2023 After some new concerns with my car I took it to a shop near my house that noticed the helicoil had broken inside my engine due to improper installation and that my brake fluid was extremely dirty - even after being replaced 17 months prior (I drive 6k miles or less a year). When I asked them about covering the helicoil repair due to their improper installation they deferred to it not being under warranty and that they would not cover it or fix it. The brake fluid being extremely dirty suggests it was never done or was done improperly, their assurance of quality and thouroughness when diagnosing my misfire, their improper install and refusal to cover repair costs is the reason I’ll never suggest or use CBA and especially CBA Hendersonville ever again.

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLES HERE. Customer service and corporate offices are not helpful. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at Christian Brothers. I had my vehicle repaired on two consecutive days, specifically to address two check engine warnings. The repairs included replacing the knock sensor and the computer.
Unfortunately, just two weeks after these repairs, my check engine light came back on, showing the same error code as the knock sensor. Upon further inspection, it was determined that the issue is now related to the engine mount and timing chain.
I believe this should have been identified during the initial inspections and repairs. A thorough inspection at the beginning could have prevented the unnecessary replacement of the knock sensor and the computer, saving both time and cost.
Upon further research and consultation with automotive experts, it has come to my attention that a faulty engine mount can cause excessive vibrations and misalignment in the engine compartment. These issues can directly impact the performance and longevity of other components, including the knock sensor and the vehicle's computer.
Had the engine mount issue been identified and addressed during the initial inspection, it is likely that the subsequent problems with the knock sensor and computer could have been avoided. A thorough inspection should have included checking for engine mount integrity, which is a fundamental aspect of diagnosing engine compartment issues.
The initial repairs were not only insufficient but also misdiagnosed, leading to additional, avoidable expenses.
I spent well over $4K with the same issues and they want to charge me more to fix the motor mount.

I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AUTOMOTIVE!
I brought my car in last Thursday, May 23 because my AC was not cooling. I agreed to the recommended diagnostic. Once their inspection/diagnostics was done I received a call from your shop saying they found the problem (2 lines leaking and the condenser needed to be replaced) I was assured this was the issue and it will be resolved at an overpriced cost of $1,440. I needed my car cooling because I had travel around town the whole weekend and this Houston heat is no joke! They called and said it was fixed and ready. I picked it up at closing and after driving for 5-10 mins, it was still blowing hot air. So I took it back the next day and they said "oh another line is leaking, sorry we missed it yesterday, we'll take care of it" after waiting for over 2 hours, they call me to pretty much tell me it may stop cooling and the worker sounded unsure as to what it could be. $1,440 AND THE ISSUE WAS NOT FIXED! I was so upset and had to drive in the heat knowing I have to pay for something that they could not fix. They told me to come back the following business day after the memorial day weekend which was a Tuesday. I did and once again they apologized for the inconvenience and said they would take care of it. Hours later, I get an email with a new inspection result saying the Compressor failed and it has to be replaced. Mind you there was no mention of compressor when I did the initial diagnostics and second inspection. How is the compressor fine on Friday and messed up on Tuesday? So pretty much whatever y'all did messed up my compressor. On top of all that they told me it would cost me an extra thousand dollars to replace. SO I HAVE TO PAY $1,440 FOR A JOB NOT DONE THEN FIND A BETTER MECHANIC SHOP AND PAY THEM TO REALLY FIX THE ISSUE CHRISTIAN BROTHERS CHARGED ME ALL THAT MONEY FOR. I reached out to corporate and they said they will call the owner hoping we can come to a happy medium. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. THE MANAGER OF THAT MISSION BEND LOCATION PRETTY MUCH TOLD ME THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO FOR ME.
From my experience, if you want small jobs done like oil change and inspection done then sure you can used these people but IF YOU HAVE ANY MJOR WORK DONE THAT REQUIRES COMPETENT MECHANICS, STAY FAR AWAY FROM CHRISTIAN BROTHERS!!!

Worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with a shop in my life. Car sat for months unattended with no updates or any real information and then when returned to me was damaged and they are now dodging accountability. Looking into talking with corporate home office and filing a complaint at this point as it’s been ridiculous. I’ve got photos & evidence of wrongdoing.
Location I went to is 17320 FM-529 W
Houston, TX 77095

We bought our vehicle in due to it not starting.
To be perfectly clear we took our car to the dealership BEFORE BRINING TO CB and we got a full diagnosis to find out what is going on with the car PRIOR TO IT NOT STARTING because it was pulling when we want it to accelerate. DEALER told us all fuel injectors were leaking and needed to be replaced. NOTHING ELSE FOUND. My husband wanted to save money because baby coming soon.
he decided to buy two of the fuel injectors himself they were the two worst ones that were broken off in there .He did replace sucssefully tried to start the car it wanted to start but it wouldn't.we get a tow to CB we did we explain what he did and we just needed the car started .
tech said it was a fuel pump. We replaced fuel pump not even a year ago so we wasn't sure why it would be that. We ask them how much to get the car running we got a quote for like 1800 dollars he said it would be 1400 to get the car running We told CB before they start the services you guarantee that this is gonna get the car running We need the car to be able to run to point a and point B until we can get the rest of the money to complete the repairs yes that's gonna get the car running
So we get a call the car is done we got it started but your car is still running bad but it's ready that's all that was told to us so shuttled us back to shop NOT ONCE DID ANYONE SAY HEY WE GOT CAR STRATED BUT IT SHUTS OFF IMMEDIATELY AND BYE THE WAY ITS NOW POURING FULE FROM BOTH MUFFLERS AND BLOWING WHITE SMOKE.instead they brought us in he paid he didn't see the car until after he tried to turn on the car and it wouldn't stay on it literally shut off and parking lot filled with light smoke and the mufflers were pouring fuel that's not how we brought the car in the car has never done that before. And the tech was staring at him and must have felt guilty and asked him if he hey do you want me to just give you a Ride home cause he couldn't even get the car out of the spot .
He told him what happen i thought you siad ysll got it running . Tech response was well u said u needed started. He siad yes i told you to run so i can get to work untill we have enough to complete other repairs. We would have never paid we would have just left car there untill we can afford it of we knew it was not running.
so we paid $1400.00 for absolutely nothing!
We called he spoke to the owner the next morning the words out of the owner's mouth was well tech went out there earlier today when he had some extra time to look at it and the technician was scratching his head because he just doesn't know what's wrong with him.
we gave them $1400.00 for absolutely nothing we couldn't even get the car into a parking space .so we got our car tow back to Dealer for another full diag.
We showed them the video that CB sent us and invoice and told them everything that they said and how we got the car back .he also told him everything that he did on the car prior to bring it to CB .DELAER said the fuel pump didn't need to be replaced it didn't need to be touched again the only thing was the fuel injectors .2500 borrowed to complete repairs. AND THE CAR WAS DONE RUNNING FINE AFTER THEY REPLACED ALL INJECTORS. So i attach the invoice from Dealership and i sent it to dan the owner of CB and of course he goes into his 30 yrs of experience of i've never seen all injectors fail at once.
We will never return and Mind you we spent lots of money there years before. We had electrical stuff done. Ac work done. That went well with older techs. Spoke to corprate since shops are Independently owned, it is up to the owner to come up with some sort of agreement. I was told by corporate the owner will Give me a call back the same day. It has been a couple of days and the owner. Dan has not called me back. I guess he is sticking with the diagnostic car correctly. I will not hold a heavy heart., please be aware If you brin

This past October, I took my vehicle to Christian Brothers for a second opinion, regarding my transmission and the air conditioner compressor. I had taken my vehicle to them before and had repairs done with no problems afterwards. I trusted that I would get the same results that I got the first time. It didn't happen. Again, after taking my vehicle to them for a second opinion, I was told that my transmission was fine, and I needed a new serpentine belt for my compressor, it was not seized up as I had been told by another mechanic. I was also told that I needed to have other repairs done on my car after the diagnosis was done. This included a serpentine belt, new pulleys, power steering pulley replacement and flush, coolant system bypass hose and flush, a valve cover gasket w spark plugs replacement, and brake flush. After a week of being without my car, and having to spend additional money for Uber so I could go back and forth to work, my car repaired. After paying almost 2,400 dollars for repairs, I finally got my car back, to discover to my dismay, my car was making the same noise, but worst. I then took my car to another mechanic who specializes in Nissan cars, to find out that none of the hoses had been changed out, they are still leaking, I needed a power steering pump instead of a pulley (my pump is leaking), my brakes were not flushed and bleed, and the wrong size serpentine belt was put my compressor. In addition to this, I needed ball bearings, rear struts, and there is an issue with my electrical system. I'm now having to have the repairs done one at a time , because I don't the money to have everything done now. NI don't understand how none of this was discovered doing diagnosis that I paid $175.00 dollars for. I have reached out to Christian Brothers corporate office several times (I was told that I needed to talk to Ryan I believe), to discuss a refund, and the only thing I keep getting is a voice-mail. NO ONE from their office has returned my call.As a praticing Christian myself,I don't see the Christian in Christian Brothers .

Don't trust this place. They are dishonest and only care about money. They ruined my vehicle bc they neglected to complete a full diagnostic although they charged me for one. I have no vehicle due to their negligence and then they refused to take any responsibility so currently I have no car. I really had high hopes for them and I trusted them.

My experience was Horrible & Disappointing. I felt lied to & cheated then scammed. I will never gobackand never refer any friends nor family members. On 10/13/223 i had appointment for a diagnotic. The front desk agent asked me what problems I was having with my car so after I told him my starter was not allowing the key to turn over for starting up my car then thats the 9nly thing they tested my car for then I was told my battery was not giving out signals but in order to complete the diagnostic I need to purchase a new battery for $144 and christian brothers would not recharge my current battery just so the test could be completed then I got an estimation for over $1600.00 so then I complained so they dropped it to $1295.00. I immediately declined & will not be going back just to install a battery and a starter for a 2013 Nissan sentra was over $1600.00.

I've been a loyal patron of this establishment (Broadview heights Ohio location) since its inception, even detailing their shuttle as a part of our long-standing business relationship. I entrusted them with my E63s AMG for a critical transmission replacement, an agreement made in good faith. Shockingly, under new management, my car was not only neglected but illegally towed without any communication or consent. The new leadership even went to the extreme of involving the police when I inquired about my vehicle. This is a gross violation of trust and an affront to ethical business practices. Contrary to their professed values, this team has demonstrated neither integrity nor professionalism. I strongly caution anyone against doing business here. You deserve a service that honors its commitments and respects its customers.Avoid this place at all costs.I’ve tried calling and have left several voicemail and no one will take my call or call me back.

Be aware before you fork out a lot of money. Replaced my AC 2 years ago, took back 2 days later with problems. Been 2 years now (3 year warranty) and now they say I need a new fan. Paid my fee for diagnostics and left , went to another repair shop and funny how my fan is in good working order. My AC compressor is weak instead. Hmmmm, that should be warranty but guess they camouflaged that.Be careful !Service: A/C installation & repair
