Great store. I love to take my son to look at all the toys. They have an awesome selection. Lots of books to choose from throughout the store. Prices are realistic and I'd rather buy toys here than other larger stores.

This place is very adorable. It is definitely a spruced up KayBee toy store. They have quite a variety of toys that aren't normally seen at a Target or Walmart. (RIP Toys R Us... maybe?!). It's still a nice experience to check out. So go, get you some toys!

Attending my new neighbor's 1-year-old birthday party, I wanted to strike the right note with my gift. Walking into Blue Whale, the day of the party, I found a bunny an a top hat hand puppet within tens steps from the front door. Being a Saturday, they were busy with parents and a sheaf of curious children parsing through they reachable toy bins. A short wait in line and my gift was stuffed into a plain brown gift bag with colorful tissue paper hiding the contents.They offer discounts if you're on their list of repeats customers but we're unable to find my wife's info on their computer, doing so would have saved me five bucks.The 1-year-old loved it and the parents now have a new way to entertain her with separating any pairs of socks. Thank you, Blue Whale!

Great local toy store. They can help you pick out a gift and have it wrapped and get you on your way in no time. And you won’t give the same Amazon toy as everyone else!

This toy shop is amazing! Always has the best toys and the best customer service. The toys are unique and great toys for all ages! Every kid will love this store and it is great for gifts. They also do gift wrapping that makes the gift feel even more special. I would definitely recommend!

Lovely experience! We were visiting the area and needed some gifts for friends’ kids. Not only did they have something for every age, but the women in the shop were so helpful! And we were able to get them gift wrapped beautifully. 10/10!!

They will try to make you leave 10-15 minutes before the store closes. We've shopped at this store multiple times with zero issues until today. We will not be going back.

Such a cute store! They've got a vast selection of various toys and books for all ages. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit!

This is a fantastic little shop where you can get lost for a while!! The toys are amazing. For children to purchase and adults to enjoy shopping. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. Have soft toys Jelly cat brand - loves of my toddler from 6 months!

Absolutely charming toy store! My husband and I were in the area for a Christmas party and decided to see if Big Blue Whale had any special toys not sold in the big box stores. We were not disappointed. Our little ones will be so excited to see what fun and unique Christmas gifts we found. I cannot recommend this small, locally owned business enough. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Houston.

I discovered this place last year and most recently came in a few times around the holidays. They have always offered to help as soon as I come in. I've given them general ideas of what I'm looking for, e.g. kid that likes to build things, and they will literally walk me around the store pointing out items for me. It's always a very positive experience, but it really stood out during the holidays when they were crazy busy but still managed to make me feel like a special customer. Also the chips are a nice touch that I learned about while checking out.
