I've been a customer of this bank since 1990 and have never experienced such rudeness and insensitivity as July 17. I tried to deposit a check from my resale shop for $246.10 and what the ATM recorded was $6,246.10. I knew this was not right so I went inside to tell them of the problem. The young woman at the front desk told me the error was due to my incorrectly entering the amount of the check which was produced by a computer rather than a handwritten check. All I entered was my PIN but she wasn't interested in that. So although the $6000 error has been eliminated the bank placed a hold on my deposit until July 26. I called BOA on July 17 and after being on hold for 20 minutes and 57 seconds finally spoke with a bank representative who told me the $6000 error was been taken care of and there should not be any further hold on the $246.10 check. She also said she would report this ATM as problematic and needed to be repaired. The hold on my check is still in place until 7/26/2023, at which time I assume the amount will finally be credited to my account. No guarantees, right? I really hate this treatment and hope that steps will be taken to make sure it doesn't happen to other customers.

I always have had a good experience at this branch, the employees are always smiling and ready to help. Some times only one teller but usually is fast

1. Banks poorly trained. Don't know their own bank policy and require clients to go back multiple times for something that could be done on one visit;2. Horrible wait times. 45 minutes to deposit one check?!
