I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. They wanted to give my geriatric dog vaccine for puppies. They are rude and hostile and if you ask them questions about their procedures they get very dismissive.
The older tech is just plain unfriendly. After several very bad experiences, I took my business elsewhere.

Inefficient, dismissive reception, veterinary technicians and doctor. Some of the vet techs are competent, but the doctor herself is quite cold and dismissed my dogs severe allergies for months on end. I get a very odd sense of disdain from her.
I finally started taking my dog to Arroyo Veterinary Hospital, and he has received much better care there than he ever did at Paws and Claws. Pick another vet if you are not willing to take any risks on the health of your pets.

I have been with this vet going on 2 years and i’m gonna have them send our paperwork to another clinic. Don’t waste your time with them. They take waaaaayyyyyy to long to assess anything.

OMG, this office is great. The staff is so friendly and so is the doctor. Office genuinely cares. My Yorkie suddenly got sick. I called every vet in Brownsville literally, and no one could see her. My Yorkie is family. I called the vet in Combs and one in San Benito. San Benito referred me to Paws and Claws. My furbaby is much better thanks to Paws and Claws. I would recommend them without reservations.

When we couldn't find anybody to help us the doctor and the staff were extremely helpful above and beyond they actually saved my little boy's life

I only have good things to say. The staff was professional and I love that they all had smiles on their faces as they were helping others outside (curbside). Mary was so helpful and answered all my questions. I didn’t think it was expensive. I recommend ?

Paying for routine check up but then can't talk to vet, and they will just tell you everything is fine.

First time taking my dog to vet here in Harlingen and she was very uncomfortable the whole time. She has breathing problems so she was panting throughout the whole visit due to them having us wait outside for about 30 minutes in my car in 100 degree weather. Once they finally acknowledged her breathing problems they took us inside. Staff was friendly though. Not too good of a visit for my pet..
