Dee came to my house to measure the day I called and Cheryl had just bought some high grade soft back carpet that was the perfect shade for our new home. This saved us some money. Cheryl also had some beautiful tile for the bathroom (in stock). They squeezed us into their tight schedule and got us taken care of so we could go ahead and move into our home. When calling his office, the wife or front desk lady was the sweetest! She was on top of her game. Had great Customer service. However, the tech (which said he was the owner) that showed up was horrible. He acted like it was a problem him being here from the jump. To describe our little encounter is un-nerving. When calling his office, the wife or front desk lady was the sweetest! She was on top of her game. Had great Customer service. However, the tech (which said he was the owner) that showed up was horrible. He acted like it was a problem him being here from the jump. To describe our little encounter is un-nerving. During this pandemic, like most businesses we have to limit the amount of people in the building. There is a HUGE sign at the door that clearly states to call a number when you arrive and someone will let you in so we can sanitize to protect both you and our team. The tech clearly doesn't know how to read, he BEATS on the door like a crazy person, the owner annoyed, says no don't answer, make him call and follow directions, that is ridiculous. The tech then proceeds to beat on the owner of the buildings window, then walks around to the other side of the building and beats on another offices window. So naturally our owner came out upset and asked him to not do that. The guys never says anything, he rolls his eyes and proceeded to come in and measure for carpet install. When hes done he then comes to me and slams the sample book down and asks why i didn't speak up to the owner and got him in trouble if his wife called and made an appointment. My reaction was, well first off when she called she stated you were going to be in the area and would be by, never once did she give a time. I told her in the call, anytime was fine he would just need to call when he got here. I then spoke my peace of him banging on our windows (this is a multi suite building by the way) like a crazy person. He then gathered his stuff and walked out all while saying how he understands why no one would want to do business with someone that acts like this. ( where he gets off saying this i have no idea) Well mister i don't understand why anyone would want to do business with you and your piss pour attitude. In a time like this you would think you would be idk courteous to your clients that are even asking for you to do this during a pandemic. I came to a smaller business to support our community. Only to be met with awful experience and a waste of my time! I wouldn't recommend this company EVER to anyone. I will be sure to let it be known to any and all people i come into contact with! By far the rudest and most disrespectful person ever! If hes the owner then maybe the wife should make him retire and get a younger tech in there that will treat their customers with respect. Never in my life have i ever encountered such a disrespectful person. In a place of business to business at that! he should be ashamed of how he conducted him self. There were MANY people to witness his behavior he excreted in a commercial space.

I met Mr. Dee Dunn at the store, while he showed me their wide selection of vinyl plank flooring. CLEARLY they sell top of the line flooring! Of course I selected the most expensive flooring, and even at that, the estimate was fair for replacing 1400sqft of old carpeting and nasty laminate, with Vinyl Plank Flooring. Mr. Dunn later met us at my home and meticulously measured, including inside closets... (He doesn't skimp).I'm still in the process of completing the job, and I'll post photos when my flooring is complete. I'm looking forward to getting rid of that disgusting laminate... Who does that to their floors??? Laminate is a waste of money! So, is carpet, when you consider vinyl plank flooring has a nearly lifetime warranty. With Dunn's Floors and More... If anything ever goes wrong with your flooring... Just give 'em a holler... They'll make it right.

Dunn's is the most reliable source for ANYTHING that you need in the lake area. We have been using them for more than 10 years. We have used Dunn's for things you might expect. We have bought tile, had them install carpet and they put in a sliding glass door for us.
However, they have done much more than that. The "& More" means just that. They have provided all kinds of contractor type work you would not expect. They have done boathouse work, carpentry and they even refurbished my boat trailer!! If they cannot do it, they are a reliable source to refer the best contractors in the lake area. We selected a gutter contractor, a cabinet maker and a tree trimmer - all at their suggestion. All did excellent work.
Dunn's staff is professional and courteous, and I highly recommend them.

Stopped in to get a estimate on hardwood floors. They did not have any all hard wood floors for me to look at, feel or touch... Red Oak or any all real wood floors. To me it look like just the cheap stuff was there to see and feel. But that's just my opinion... The estimate I gave for about 1,300 sqft need instillation. For red oak... He used his calculator and came back with estimate of $16,000. The highest I have gotten. Lack of substance....The guy seem to not want my business. He didn't offer me any deals, or try to get my business....
