ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. The staff has 0 clue what they are doing when they tell you that you can sign up for a membership while we are on vacation and then cancel it after the vacation is over without issue. She said you would just pay for the month and cancellation would be super easy. I called today and they told me that the staff member had signed us up for their minimum 6 month recurring membership and the only way to cancel is to wait for the 6 months to pass and then cancel. I offered to pay it off so I don’t have to call back again and she said no, I can’t do that. We live 6 hours away from here.

It is quite disheartening to be denied a tour of the facility, specifically the gym, despite having contributed a significant amount of money to rent out Stewart Hall for three days. Such a rigid policy, particularly when it comes to potential members or those investing in the facility, reflects poorly on the customer service standards of the REC. It is disappointing that the importance of fostering positive relationships with all patrons, regardless of their membership status, is overlooked. Or maybe it was just the brunette curly headed woman at the desk behaving that way.

As a previous grapevine resident, this rec center is the best around! Great workout equipment, friendly staff, a fun waterpark. Makes me want to move back to grapevine bc we don’t have one where I live. ?

We were visiting from out of town on a weekday and talked to them about features and when they were open. Upon arrival they required each adult to have a $35 membership and $10 per kid.

the experience is great. it's cheap and efficient. you definitely need to go here and have a great time working out/swimming/playing sports

The REC is a great place for families and a good community center for people to socialize, play team sports and get some cardio.
Not my favorite for gym selection, as it has limited equipment for its volume of people... but has a great cardio selection.
Their pool looks awesome for families and kids... like a theme park and super fun... it's just not for me.
Overall a great place though.
