Everything was fine at first but about a week after purchasing 2023 escape active it started having issues. Screens shut off, brakes lock, back up camera staying on, audio only coming out of one speaker or one side of the vehicle, etc. This car has been in service more times than there are records for. All the issues were ignored and downplayed. After a brake lock incident that landed me in the hospital I went to the dealership & asked to speak to a manager and I spoke to Steve (sales manager) & Jose (service manager) and in speaking to them they told me my car had never been touch all the times it was checked in, and only a batter was replaced days before and I still didn’t have records for. I was yelled at, disrespected and ignored by both Steve and Jose & Jose told me that I could take the car elsewhere and deal with not being with a car for months because he had no loaners available or rental cars to offer and initially I was given a loaner as my spouse was an employee at the time. John Poe saying I would never get an apology for the actions of those “managers” because he was working with me now & he sent me an email recently stating he guaranteed I would have no further issues with the car after battery replacement but that was another lie. The car is still doing the same issues it had been doing that go beyond just the screen issues in the car that they explained to FORD was the ONLY problem. How does a brand new car have this many problems? And why are grown men yelling at me for simply asking for help in getting my car fixed or replacing with a functioning vehicle that is not causing injuries to me or my family! Ford claims there’s no recalls. Ford forums & ford groups have at least 10 other people with the same make & model I have with the same problems! The dealership ignored issues and Ford Followed. Don’t trust a dealership that tells customers to just let a car go into repo status and buy a new one. Don’t trust a dealership that treats their own employees like dirt. Don’t trust a dealership that disrespects an employees spouse over an email pleading for help for issues with a car that was purchased here! Don’t trust a place that tells employees to “control their wife” for making complaints about an unsafe car purchased here. No wonder this place can’t keep GOOD employees! I expected better from FORD but seeing as this place and these managers are still employed I’ve lost all respect and confidence in FORD as a whole!!

I had the absolute worst experience with a salesman at this location. I'm baffled by the customer service he presented. Blatantly talked to me and my partner like we don't know what we're talking about. It's exactly salesman like him that ruin the experience of buying a vehicle. It also smelled like weed as soon as we walked in the building. I'm not sure if this is going to get to the right person but I'd really appreciate any info on how I can formally write a complaint or something on this guy. I understand business but this guy was just trying to scam. I was lied to, disrespected, and manipulated into doing what he wanted me to do. If yall care any about how yall make money, then that man needs to be fired.

Don’t wast your time going to this place. No one returns calls , the service advisor never say the same thing twice. If you get someone to answer they are rude or don’t have a clueService: Electrical repair

Bad service: I bought a vehicle, and as it was being cleaned the right mirror cover was damaged and it came off. I was told that in 3 or 4 days, I was going to be called and it was going to be replaced with a new one. I still want head and got the vehicle with trust. And They never called me and never responded it. I had to replace it myself and within 3 days it was done somewhere else.

If I could give less then 1 star I would. My husband & I came from Tyler after going back & forth with Brenda (used cars). What we wanted to look at of course wasn't there any longer. We test drove another truck, got it. Drove it less then 2 weeks & now has been sitting at a local dealership waiting for the MPP insurance guy to come look at it. Took over 7 days for him to make it to look at it. Said it was over his grade of pay & had to discuss with his supervisors. Whole time, guy at local dealership is telling them that it needs a new motor. Hello, less then 2 weeks of owning. MPP don't want to pay for a new motor only lifters, dealership, said really needs new motor. They are offering to pay around 5k and we have to come up with over 7k. Cause I have that laying around. Once the sale lady screwed us, we never heard back from her again. Oh wait, she was in Canada and wasn't getting any kind of service to be able to answer my calls/text/emails, but her service worked well enough after we called her boss. Asked for over a week for the financial paperwork finally got at 6pm on the 14th of July and guess what? The 13th at 10am was the deadline to bring back the truck. So guess what, we know have a POS truck sitting in the shop that we can't afford to pay for yet the first payment on this POS is coming up. Believe me I am not done with you people yet. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS. I wished I had read these reviews first. What they have done to us is wrong.

Do not go to this place is you want your time to be wasted. The main reason I went in is because they had a Ford Escape for sale at 24k that's been sitting in the lot for a whole week. I called before coming in to see if it was still available and they told me that it was. Of course as soon as I walked in they told me that it was already sold weeks ago. How can a car that was sold weeks ago still be sitting in the car lot?Anyways so I decided to go for another one that was listed for 29k. I test drove it and liked that car. As soon as we started talking about numbers they increased the price to 36k with all of these add ons. Once again they wasted my time by lying again about the price of the vehicle. The seller and the manager would not remove the add ons and explained that these add ons were necessary in order for the vehicle to be sold. We told them to show us the other vehicles that were 29k and of course you know it, they added the same add ons and it equaled to about 35k. We asked them that we will only buy the car for 29k because that's what we were promised since the 24k vehicle was apparently no longer available after they told that it was. We just decided to walk out empty handed.

I am looking at cars right now and am asking what the add on charges are. This one was interesting. They charge over $1200 to make sure the paint is good and the car is running. Wish it was included in the overall price they advertise, but that won't work for them. Whatever price you see online, add $1,200 plus tax plus doc plus magic paint, plus $20 per gallon of gas and there are 25 gallons as an estimate, even though the tank only fills 11 gallons, but they were unsure so they provide a "safe and fair" estimate ( magic paint and total amount of gallons of fuel is said in humor, but who knows.)Please explain how the $1,200 vehicle inspection and wash a justified "add-ons". If someone decides to not pay that, will they have to leave with a 25k or more pos? If that add on makes sense and I am wrong, please tell me how. Don't say, we have to do a 172 point inspection. Cool, why not just add it to the price versus waiting to show the potential customer that the price they saw on the sticker was just to get them in the door. Thanks for the reply back.

They sold me a 2013 c max hybrid in February, in March it started overheating so I took it back to them to get fixed, they said it needed a new transmission and I had to pay for it, YESTERDAY they said it was ready, then right after I picked it up it overheated again, and then once more on the way back to the service center. So I paid for a whole new transmission on a car I just bought and it didn't even fix the problem, which they would have known had they bothered driving it for five minutes before calling me to say it was ready.

Their service is bad, I took my 2020 diesel truck for an oil change and other services and they didn’t do a good job. They didn’t even change the filter and they were supposed to do a tire rotation on my truck and they didn’t do that either. All they did was just charge me for it. Don’t go there!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

Simple, make sure you get everything, and I mean EVERYTHING in writing before you sign the dotted line, especially when buying a vehicle from this dealership. If you spot a defect with the vehicle, (paint, mud guard, tint, any damage at all) do not just take the salespersons word for it that they will fix it at some later date, get it in writing that it will be fixed BEFORE you buy the vehicle. Take photos, have a manager sign off on it and do not trust that they are your friend because once you buy and leave that lot, you are treated like an old, discarded number and if there is a defect with the vehicle, don't let the salesperson say, " oh don't worry, we'll fix that for you next week, let's go ahead and get you in this new car!" because a year later, you'll be calling up there asking why your service appointment still hasn't been set up to fix the defect. If I could do it all over again, knowing what I know now, I would have definitely gone somewhere else. They will lie to you over and over again after the sale, I have never been treated this way especially after expressing my desire to purchase future vehicles from them. My advice, STAY AWAY but if for some unfortunate reason you have to do business with them, avoid like the plague anyone up there whose last name happens to end with Mercer. He could have avoided this complaint by simply being honest as I was to him when I told him to hold the new vehicle I wished to purchase while I drove 2 hours with my trade in. I told him on the phone that "I am a man of my word" when asked if I was for sure going to be up there that evening? To reciprocate, he lied to me for over a year about an issue I had with the vehicle I purchased from him. Shame, in this economy a car salesman feels that dishonesty will be tolerated.

The people are dishonest as the day is long. They advertise a vehicle for one price and then when you come in they add $8-10K for it. They are trying to sell used cars for well over original selling price with no warranty. We tried to buy two trucks from them and they lied at every step and purposely wasted a tremendous amount of our time. Don't waste yours.
