They promoted the charity they were doing with a cheery smile, and they kept it even when I had to decline.Overall the store is great and easy to walk through. Just trying not to get distracted by everything like I did.”

“A few weeks ago my roommate and I realized that we had no more bottled water. It was around 10:30 PM. We decided to drive up to the Dollar General.I was very surprised to see 2 or 3 cars in front. My roommate got out went to the door and a man holding a key opened and let him go in.I know that these people work hard stocking when they have time, running the register, and other duties. If you have never worked retail then you may not know that most retail stores are short handed by choice. I am including these facts because the key holder could have not let anyone in past closing. They have plenty to do.I gave them 5 stars for putting customer first. I have been in many of theses stores but never did they let you in late. In fact they will yell at you and tell you how much time you have left.Thank You Mr. KEY HOLDER.”
“I was there today with my son. There was a man who works there who was running the checkout line. Everybody was being very patient with him but he was very slow. There was a woman who works their name destiny and all I can say is she deserves a rise! FOR SURE! She was running that place. She was busting her butt in the back. Trying to get everything stocked. “While on a resupply mission for flaming hot cheetos. I ran into the typical texas cashier explaining the finer points of turboencabulation, ya know conductors, fluxes and reverse phase detractors. Thankfully lisa poped out of the office saying her goodbuys and saw me and a couple weary folks waiting for the sweet release of death or a wild animal to take us. She promptly put her purse down and started ringing us out and being jolly while she was doing it. Lisa is a real one especially these days.”
