I have their DSL and it sucks! Slow most of the day. I was also told I’d have 50 mbs when I called them but when they came out the technician said it would only be 20. I WISH I could get 20. Geez!

Worst customer service experience ever. They only work normal business hours with no after hours service ?. So be ready to have to take off work often to have your internet fix. They are rude about trying to work out a time to get a tech out because the have a monopoly on fiber and so they don't care to be a professional company. They know you have no choice but to use them if you want fiber. A good company would run their techs till at least 7pm so people can get things done after work.

Absolutely worst experience I've ever had with a cable company. Waste of money.Best thing I ever did was switch to another cable company, finally I have modern internet and cable bill 40% less than the garbage cable/internet I had before.

They serve internet to 7 counties, they are reasonable with stalk pay back check in the mail at the end of the year, and they have fast internet and packages that are bundles.

Worst customer service EVER!!! I really can't complain about the actual service we rarely have an outage the problem is when you do have a problem ( and believe me you will have one!) they are NEVER able to fix it over the phone. I'm talking three days of nonstop calls on the phone and they act like they are clueless they just can't fix it and i think i've figured out why. They charge a $75 trip charge to come out and fix it. Literally 15 minutes from my house, less than 5 minutes to fix it and they charge me $75 plus tax ...my monthly bill is already $230 a month and i pay for inside maintenance on my bill. I have never been more frustrated with a company in my life. Money grabbing shady company..as if $230 isn't enough money to make off of me already! I wanted to give them zero stars due to their crappy customer service but it wouldn't let me!!!

Honestly these guys are pretty awesome. Sure they're all we can get out here, but we get no data caps, it rarely if ever goes down, and I've always had nothing but great service and suppoet. Prices seem high when compared to in town options, but we don't live in town. It's one of the tradeoffs for getting to live rural. Also, I town options are going to cap your data. Anyway, read your fine print when signing up and there will be no surprises. I've never paid a fee that I didn't already know was coming.

E-Tex is great. Their technicians are very nice and are there when they say they will be there. As for the Customer Service (Gilmer location) they are very friendly. Every time I have called whether to pay my bill or because a storm came through and fried my modem they are very helpful and courteous. I have had absolutely no issues with my internet.
