“Our battery operated gate opener quit working a couple of days ago so I called American Fence. A gate expert wasn't available at the moment I called, but one of the staff called me back within a few minutes. I didn't catch the name of who I talked to but he was extremely patient and helpful (I didn't know crap about the system, but do now). After troubleshooting didn't fix the problem, I brought the circuit board in for testing to find it had been fried in a recent lightning storm. They set me up with a new board and set it all up to be reinstalled. Fantastic folks who have my fence business for life.”

“Went in to Pipe and Metal today for first time. I build utility trailers and working on my first pipe trailer. Met Holly and the guys at the front office and they helped me get everything I needed to get started. She sent me across the the street to the yard where Henry and “the new guy” got me loaded up with my purchase! Very friendly and helpful, will be going back for more materials for future jobs! “Purchased a new ballast for one of our office lights from DES. Even though the new ballast wiring was different than the out of date dead ballast, the rep at DES helped me understand the wiring configuration and I got it installed with no issues. The rep took the time to make sure I understood it. Price for the ballast was also better than pricing at Home Depot. They also had other odds and ends I needed. Great supplier with a location that is off the beaten path in Georgetown (less traffic, great parking) so getting in and out was a breeze. Highly recommend DES!”

“I was in and out! I walked in and a gentleman asked if I needed help. I haven't been in this store yet so I did need some help finding a pump I need. He found the right one for me and after a quick checkout I was gone!”

“Started rough. Bought 18 boards and waited in the yard to be loaded for too long. However, once I got help they were very friendly and helpful. They even helped me with my creative loading solution to carry boards that were much too long for my vehicle. I give them 5 stars bc no other lumber yard would work that hard for 1 customer buying just 18 boards.”

And Edith who helped me check out who taught me how upcs line up with the item number on the receipt as we confirmed our smart lock.It's the little things, when employees take it just the right amount of slow, that makes a place a return destination. This location has it down pact. I can even remember Scott's name from a week ago who helped me in the tools department, and gave me a water bottle from the employee fridge because I was dripping sweat. (Granted he's been helping me for 2 years now and always a pleasure.)Sorry - last name drop. Guiellermo who politely smiled when he saw I bit off more than I could chew but still helped me get the fork in my mouth :)Even the kids who helped me load my truck - scrappy go getters. I'll continue to do my shopping here simply because when I come I walk into a place of people who are just as excited as I am to try and build some cool stuff for my house.”
