The management staff and people are wonderful here pay no attention to other reviews. These are people who are racist and don’t support the minority group. Never had an issue shop here all the time. Wonderful staff be done with racist people who do false reviews.

WARNING, do not go in!!! Horrible place to shop. Do not buy here. "Management" is rude and they do not do what is right for their customers. They will treat you like trash. I have never dealt with such ridiculous people. Run! Run fast! You will regret buying anything!

WARNING, DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. The woman employee “manager” is horrible. I purchased a hat and it was wrapped so I didn’t notice it was defective. Took it back, same day and was asking to exchange for one that is not damaged. The man manager offered to get one and could check on Monday which was fine but we didn’t get that far because the women was sooooo rude, told us to leave and we were not allowed to come back or sit outside. I’m saying she was horrific - only wanted to give us store credit. I only wanted the hat and not to be forced to purchase something I didn’t want because she would not refund or see about an exchange with vendor which makes me wonder where their products are coming from, she said Mexico (which is okay) but she was not willing to exchange so I think something is not right.)UPDATE 10-27-2023 I have received a telephone call trying to bully me about my Honest review. The man is now threatening to go on my business and post a bad review against me. I have NEVER done business outside of this shop with these people which definitely shows how these people work. I did finally get the refund for the hat but totally NOT worth the hassle over $59.53.

Went inside to ask for a napkins because our daughter spit up. I was carrying a drink from another store which is pretty common on the strand. The manager whispered in the clerks ear then walked off. The clerk said, "Sorry napkins are for customers only". I proceeded to let them know I will never be a customer after that. Would not recommend. Very rude. Sad the manager or owner couldn't even tell me herself & made the clerk do it when she was standing there. Also, it was for a baby!

PSA: I want to share my experience with a shop on the strand yesterday. I’m still in total shock on how I was treated and shouted at. I walked into a shop off the strand and saw a hat that I liked. I asked for the price, she responded “$35”. I offered her $30 cash since a lot of stores will discount if you pay cash. She said “I don’t know”. I simply said “okay no problem” and still grabbed the hat. She then told me where the mirror was to try it on and so I walked over to try it on. While trying on the hat she said “we close in 3 minutes”. I responded in shock and said calmly “do you not want my business”? She responded with “no I don’t want cheap people” ?. I was speechless and told her “I’m not being cheap and was okay to pay the price she stated after she didn’t know if she could take my offer”. A guy comes from the back of the store and starts yelling at me “F*** You, get out now, calling the police on you” and then the girl starts shouting at me too. My friend and myself were in such shock she couldn’t even react properly nor myself. We were pushed out the store all while the guy is yelling and cursing at us. I left my hat in there that I had on and they didn’t want to let anyone in to get it. Finally one of our friends walked in and grabbed my hat that I was originally wearing. I never bash businesses especially since I own a business, but I have never felt so belittled and disrespected in my life. These people had no reason to treat me like that at all. The store is called A Texas Cowgirl (Otis Spunkmeyer) at 2128 Strand St, Galveston, TX. They don’t deserve to stay in business if this is the way they treat customers.

This is a terrible buisness, they are rude to their customers they deserve to shut down. Horrible people. Do not shop here. They cuss at their customers and make rude comments. Wish I could give them 0 stars.

Horrible employees, they had the audacity to yell, curse, and kick out my good friend while trying to purchase a hat of theirs. I will never step foot in this store again.
