I'm a newbie, but these were knowledgeable people, They had good advice on tools, projects, and wood choice as well a wide selection of woodworking specialty items. They had a good source of good quality wood and sheet goods, including American and Baltic Birch, as well as various hardwoods. the good stuff, unlike the construction grade ugly plywood at the big box stores. Same goes for hard wood boards; no knot filled, bowed, cupped, and twisted greenwood junk like the big box noodles in the dimensional lumber section there. You get what you pay for so the equipment is definitely on the high end quality and cost-wise (Festool for example). Worth a look

It’s Rockler, so you know it’ll be somewhat spendy and high quality. But it’s an absolute Mecca is you are into woodworking. The store is very nice and the live wood section is pretty cool. You can also find unique exotic woods which are actually pretty reasonable in price (the zebra wood is spectacular and I’ve never seen purple wood before).Most of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They’ll help you search for anything your looking for or even give you project advice and help. But you have to watch out on sales. Item X with configuration A may be on sale, but Item X with configuration B isn’t (think slightly different hole pattern or no hole pattern). Which is why I say most of the staff is friendly (one staff person didn’t appreciate when I asked about this).

The lack of competitors in many of their products has caused their excessive pricing. You don't see over pricing on power tools brands because there is competitor there. I buy lumber from several lumber yards around the town and the rest of my need from online seller.

Rocklers sells premium products but the customer service at the Frisco location is POOR.Ive been several different times & the employees seem to all share a bland, annoyed attitude. You’d think they’d at least pretend to be nice since it’s expensive.. Avoiding this location from now on.

I love this place. It had the parts I needed to do cabinet repair in my home, and Chuck was excellent in helping me out with both finding what I needed and explaining how to use it. Thank you!

This place has all your woodworking needs there. A little pricey but worth it. I wish they'd put up a Rockler in my hometown so I wasn't so far away to go to one.

I've been going to this location for several years. These guys are always helpful from the time I walk in the door. Quinn is the guy that helped me this particular time. I needed an item replaced because of a defect. I told him the situation and he handled it immediately. One of my all-time favorite toy stores for men!

This is a nice store for woodworking, finishing, and other workshop related shenanigans. The staff is helpful, they have many domestic and exotic hardwoods, and so many tools. If you're not careful, you could spend all of your money here on tools ?

Fabulous selection of woods & tools .and most importantly,, great customer service. These folks know their products & have great tips & advice. They also have classes on current & trendy woodworking items. Would highly recommend!
