We have two Alaskan Malamutes that are littermates and one started to have social anxiety and became fear aggressive without his brother. We were referred to Lakeside Paws by our vet and it has made a HUGE difference in his life! Both of our dogs have been going to Lakeside Paws since 2021 for daycare on separate days and absolutely love it! The dog that was fear aggressive has completely changed over the past years and now allows other dogs to greet him. We are extremely grateful to Lakeside Paws! They cannot wait to go there weekly and can't wait to break out of the car as we are pulling into the parking lot. We've also used them for grooming. Our previous groomers told us we weren't allowed back without sedating our bigger dog, but Lakeside Paws were able to give him a bath and brush without any issues! We also use them for boarding and love the frequent videos that they provide. We know our dogs are safe and loved at Lakeside Paws!

Words cannot express my gratitude for Lakeside Paws. We have a nine-month-old German Shepherd who is terrified of her own shadow. We sent her to a trainer across town for four weeks, and shortly thereafter, she began urinating in her cage, making it very hard to train.She is the sweetest dog, so we really wanted a solution. After calling her former trainer, the vet and the breeder, it was Lakeside Paws who turned this around and allowed our home to be full of love and happiness with our pup.It is important to know they have numerous trainers and train your dog throughout the day – more trainers and more frequently than the prior one we used. After spending 10 days at Lakeside, she knows commands, is mastering these and has not urinated in her cage. They gave her confidence and taught us, the owners, how to better lead in the house. I was continually told we have to wear her out but at Lakeside, they told us specifically what parts of the day and for how long (which was absolutely manageable). Throughout her time at Lakeside, we were able to see her through videos and photos on Facebook. We had an amazing “exit” training session and already have our second one scheduled, which is part of the training cost.I could not be more thrilled with the outcome; it was the best investment. Every single person I interacted with was so kind, truly cared about our dog and was extremely knowledgeable.

My English Bulldogs always come home clean & happy. They love coming here and everyone takes great care of them and their needs. I love the convenience and they always try to get them an appointment when requested.

Called to board my dog and they said they don’t accept any variation of a “pitbull” breed or mix. Places and policies like this perpetuate negative stereotypes, increases the difficulty for those that want to rescue, and indirectly adds to the shelter crisis that dfw is facing.

Very good experience! I took my timid little chihuahua for the first time for a nail trim and the people are super nice and handled her so well. We were in and out in just a couple of minutes. The facility is very nice so I wouldn’t hesitate to use the boarding services.

Lakeside Paws boarded my morkie last minute. They took such great care of him. It was my first time boarding him and they put my mind at ease. I loved the morning and evening videos! My baby is older and they really looked after him. I’m truly grateful for LSP! I will definitely be bringing Chewie back there! So glad I found LSP!

Got our dog groomed there for the first time and loved the place! Staff was nice and seems like they have a lot of space for the pups in daycare to run around. Dog was groomed a little short, but we know for next time what to say! Will be coming back!

They do amazing grooming for all 3 of our dogs. Also have a great outdoor space when boarding.

Lakeside Paws is a fun place for animals. I think they mostly take house pets, but I believe there are horses there, too. They really love animals.

Lakeside is the best! My dogs love going and the staff is amazing! I don’t trust anyone else with my dogs! Jenny and her staff are amazing!

Skeeter girl has stayed with them several times now for multiple day/night stays, and she seems to love it! She's a little timid around the big dogs so she stays with the smaller dogs and LOVES them? They are always very quick on their email responses regarding anything, which I greatly appreciate! And I love being able to see her on the Facebook live videos! It's the only place she stays!

Never coming back here again. They kept charging for various items without communicating or even letting me know. They don’t care about the dogs, just the money. Extremely rude and did not seem to care about the dogs, only about getting more money. All the dogs are in little kennels in one giant room, not allowing for good rest, I could go on. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL DON’T GO HERE.
