If I could give 0 starts I would. The front desk lacks customer service skills and knowledge regarding their policy. The manager is disrespectful and solves solutions by “signing up for a membership.”This was my first time I would be trying orange theory, and was so excited! I called 6 hours before my class to possibly cancel due to not being able to get of work. The manager let me know I was going to be charged the $28 cancellation fee for not canceling 8 hours before (totally understandable) I told her I would take off work early & be making the class. I took off work, rushed home, changed, and got prepped for my work out. When I arrived, the front desk let me know they went ahead and cancelled me and charged me the cancellation fee because they thought I wouldn’t be making it but just to call back and talk with a manager tomorrow. Not only did I waste my time, but took off work early, wasted gas, and prepped myself for a workout that Orange theory cancelled after I told them I would be coming in the initial call. I spoke with the manager today. She was disrespectful, asked why I didn’t just go ahead and work out (after her front desk sent me away), she wouldn’t be refunding the $28 unless I reschedule for another class or signed up for a membership.Overall, if you’re looking for a work out place with great customer service, this is not your place.

I’ve been to lots of gyms…. Done lots of diets… even had personal trainers and tried fat loss services and pills….OT is by far the best anything I’ve ever used. You loose so much weight and feel amazing and I genuinely WANT to go every time. It is the only gym/workout place I’ve been a part of that doesn’t feel like a chore! Totally worth it!!! Go try it!!!

I have been a member of this orange theory close to two years,I have an unlimited membership which is pretty costly monthly $185. The studio pulls from my checking out monthly. I recently had my card compromised and a new card is on its way. The manager told me that I couldn’t enter class until I had a new card on file, and I understand that completely, not even 24 hours since my last class, however, I don’t have a physical card to give them and it’s on its way in ,but to be treated with such disrespect and rudeness is embarrassing and uncalled for. I told her the card would be in today , the same day they kicked me out …I have referred very good clients of mine to this location, I have stayed with him when the equipment, screens, pads aren’t working on the machines, including when the electricity goes out in the middle of class. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION!!

I figured it’s time to update my review…it wasn’t long before I increased from the 8 class pack to unlimited! I’ve been going 4-5 times/week for probably 3 years. I tried other gyms thinking I could “save money.” Not happening! I’m not willing to sacrifice the quality workouts I get with OTF! At 46 years old, I’m stronger than I’ve ever been.

Unprofessional, poorly run studio with toxic management. Management treats it like a clique hiring their friends (way too many employees there at any given time hanging out and loudly socializing; acting like customers are interrupting their important conversation) and showing favoritism towards their friends who show up to classes in the middle or leave halfway through.Management will say specific equipment is reserved for members (their friends) who aren’t there, and show favoritism towards specific members. Is this a professionally run fitness studio or a social club for management, employees and their friends?

Love the combination of cardio and weights. The coaches are fantastic and I enjoy the music. I also like not having to think about what I am going to do for my workouts.

Love the atmosphere and the coaches are awesome! It is a really great workout and sometimes you just need that extra push to get it done

The staff are very nice and welcoming. They have all the supplements you would need for your specific goals. They have all the machines you would need. Overall great gym and would definitely recommend to other people!

Update: I ONLY went to the free class. This OT charged me two months of a membership! I have been battling back and forth with my bank. Thanks for stealing my money. This location is a salty, fake place. You ruined Orange Theory for me.I tried my first class for free. I loved the coach, Zach, and the workout a ton. He was super sweet and awesome. He checked on me a few times, just in case I needed help through his class. The class was overwhelming for a first try. I think y'all can improve on your introductions.Something still rubbed me the wrong way with the front desk, however I don't remember names. The young gal that signed me up was sweet, personable, and helpful. The other woman at the front desk was micro-managing the gal signing me up the whole time. I let such things slide until the woman swiped my card plenty of times before the other girl and I could say anything. The girl that signed me up knew I was planning to sign and pay the next day; however, possibly the manager? I don't know, the woman wasn't listening to us, and I felt so uncomfortable as I was trying to figure out all the confusion for my form of payment or communication between the two. I knew the gal helping me had my card, but I was not pleased by the other woman taking it out of her hands and trying to charge me while her and I were still figuring things out for me and my membership. She was handling other clients while the remainder of her attention was on my conversation between the girl and I. I observed the girl signing me up couldn't even speak unless the woman spoke over her, basically. The poor girl knew what she was doing. Instead of half of your attention and attitude towards your colleague and as a new potential member, stick to helping others (one task at a time) or at least be kinder and actually, listen! I feel this could all have been avoided. Its not okay to throw my personal card around and charge me a few times unless I gave the approval. I said I would be able to cover the membership the next day. Thats all she needed to hear from me and the girl helping me! She had an attitude and she rushed the girl and I. I wasn't informed of the additional cost of the heart monitor afterward. The woman only shared a brand new one is required for $100. I asked if there were temporary options like renting one for the next two classes or so, and she discouraged it. The girl, who helped me, shared I can buy a lightly used one. The other woman discouraged that too. Both options are doable for Orange Theory, so why act this way?? Why hide this information?? The woman gave me bad vibes, as if only in it for the money. It didn't sit well with me, as if something was off here. My bank called me asking me why there were multiple attempts from this location. It wasn't a good experience like I have had at other group-fitness studios like Rush Cycle, etc. I love Rush Cycle. The League City location is a great community, very personal, fun, and genuine.I was weighing my options, so I am not committing to this studio. Maybe I will try another location in a few months. The woman here just wasn't professional but disrespectful. I was embarrassed with all the commotion at the front desk while other members were around. I just wanted to try the class and think about it, not this circus. Don't grab for someone's card unless I have signed a contract and got the "okay". Kindly, keep that in mind next time. Be kind to your staff and members. It looked like a lot of other people were happy here. I feel way too discouraged to come back. I regret signing up for a membership. I asked to cancel, and they delay response and never return. I NEVER any direct communication with the MANAGER. Ultimately, STEALING MY MONEY. Screw this place and thanks for stealing my birthday $$ treat. What an experience. Its the ultimate nightmare of gym-studio memberships.
