“Have stayed at this location at least 7 times. Things are improving gradually. Here are a few comments.
1. The stainless steel kitchen shelf has razor sharp edges exposed at a few locations. These need to be blunt.
2. Cabins on the ground level are frequently visited by wild boars after or near sunset. People with kids need to stay indoors post sunset.
3. The smore kit is a perfect selection. Appreciated.
4. A pair of binoculars or a digital telescope will go a long way to attract a larger crowd. I'd be ready to pay for these as an add on.
Overall its an impressive setup and so highly recommended.”
“The couple who own the place were very friendly. They said they've been there 14 years. The room was very clean (and smelled clean). Vinyl flooring instead of carpet which is a huge plus. A/C blows cold. The TV, microwave and fridge all in good working order. I loved that it still had the original wood baseboards and wood doors. The room was large and not over crowded. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The coffee pot was just adorable. I don't think I've ever seen one with a metal pot in a motel before. The exterior of the property was clean and well kept. They even had a covered area with tables and a grill by the office. Lots of folks stayed the night was there but it was overall very quiet. The only problems with the room were there were broken electrical outlets and missing outlet covers on several of the outlets. Something so cheap and easy to fix being over looked is a shame for the other wise adorable little place. I would most definitely stay here again.”
