Scheduled a massage last minute. Virginia was my therapist. She is a very skilled massage therapist. It was just what I needed today! Thank you Virginia!

I have been to several Hand and Stones facilities and my experience is usually good. This is my first time at this location on W. 7th. It was nice but pretty standard for Hand and Stone. The thing that set it apart was my therapist QUEEN!! She was amazing!! I was in pain and desperate for a solution. She was very knowledgeable, with just the right pressure and technique. It truly was the best message experience I have ever had. I highly recommend QUEEN. I rebooked with her and plan to be a regular with her!!

0 stars if I could!!! DO NOT GO HERE. They are crooks and thieves. They are unethical sneaky liars.
When I had to stop my monthly subscription their customer service, decency, and honesty evaporated. I visited on Sunday, March 24, 2024 for a massage and a facial. I discussed ahead of time that I needed to terminate my subscription because I would be moving out of DFW. I confirmed with Emma that these two services would be paid for using one membership credit and the points I had accumulated. Emma confirmed that I would have two remaining membership credits and that I would have 90 days to use them. I planned to use one credit in April and one credit in May before my move at the end of May.
The appointments that day were fine and I left feeling good. A month later when I tried to schedule my April massage I found that unexpectedly and shockingly I had ZERO credits left. The staff used my two remaining credits by giving me "upgrades" during my two service appointments. I did NOT request upgrades. I did NOT knowingly approve or consent to upgrades in either appointment. In fact I told the massage therapist that I did NOT want upgrades.
When I called to fix the issue it was an awful experience. They kept spouting their policy at me and never acknowledged what happened. No one could explain how a deep tissue massage "upgrade" or the LED light facial "upgrade" each cost $80 (the value of my monthly credits). They refused to refund my money or reinstate my credits. They did not acknowledge how awful it is to cheat someone out of their time and money. (I'm a working mom and my only me-time was this monthly massage. This was important to me and $160 is a lot of money.) The manager stated she couldn't do anything because I was calling more than 7 days after my treatment, but I didn't know about the theft of my credits until many weeks later. I had no reason to suspect wrongdoing.
They never cared to find resolution with me. They never responded to a BBB complaint that I submitted. There is nothing I can do but warn the public with this bad review.

I went to my massage appointment this evening and I left in pain. I’m not talking about the normal experience of a little tenderness after a massage but my skin was in pain. Instead of the lady giving me a normal massage she spent at least 90% of the time just pinching my skin repeatedly. I went in for a relaxing massage after such a stressful and emotional week with my daughter’s and her being in the hospital. I just wanted to lay there and relax but that did not happen. I was truly disappointed. I have used Hand & Stone for years and would never consider leaving at bad review but this was just awful. I sat in my car and just cried for a bit because I really just needed an hour of relaxation after such a horrible week.

My wife and I came after an unbelievably stressful week.
We paid for an hour massage: I went to the back at 4:09 and was back in the lobby on 4:47
My wife and I both paid for hot stone add on and paid $20 each for the upgrade and they didn’t do the service.
Buyer beware, there are a LOT better ways to spend your money than this business, I won’t be returning again.
Audrey and Marlene particularly were of zero help than to charge full price and say “ sorry do you want to join the monthly membership”?
Anyway, PLEASE DONT COME HERE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY

I enjoy my time at other hand and stones and decided to give this one a try. I got to my massage and as it was supposed to start I was informed my massage therapist wouldn't be in for 30 more minutes. I understand things come up; however, not informing someone of a delay is super unprofessional. I was offered to wait for free hot stones, but due to my schedule, I couldn't. I wasted lots of time and wasn't offered anything else. I work in customer service and safe to say I wouldn't allow a client to leave empty handed. Especially for self care that I have a difficult time fitting into my schedule.

I have only been here once but Samuel was amazing! He did great and I truly enjoyed my experience. I only had one issue not in regards to my service and the manager very politely fixed my problem over the phone. Thank you so much and I will be back! :)

Friendliest was 10/10 but I booked an hour massage, i was taken back about 7 minutes after my appointment and got told I was done 10 minutes before I was even supposed to be done. The vibe was amazing overall but I just wished to have gotten my full hour as well as massaged on my lower back like I asked

So grateful for my facial with Tiffany. She did a wonderful job on the lymphatic face massage and shoulder and neck massage
