Buy rodeo tickets ahead of time online if you can, because it might be more expensive and also more limited in seat choices in person. I was personally a little worried that the rodeo would be a little too aggressive for me. I've heard they really love and care for their animals, but I've also read one or two things on Reddit about animal lovers being concerned with the animals who felt like they were in distress. It was manageable. I still wouldn't recommend it to those who strongly do not want to see animals in that position. I ended up finding the rodeo very exciting. Watching people compete. Watching animals do their thing. Crowds cheering. It's part of the culture here and I think it's not the same anywhere else. Do it at least once if you're comfortable!

Saw my first rodeo. Won't be my last. Bronco riding, barrel racing, calf roping and team calf roping, kids chasing calves... fantastic time!

The Cowtown Coliseum is a great venue for events at the stockyards such as the rodeo and bull fighting. We enjoyed both while in town. The location is perfect for those who are enjoying the stockyards, with many shops and restaurants in the area. If you would like something to eat or drink inside, concessions and a bar are both offered. Nice venue with lots of history.

We saw the Ultimate Bullfighters show.We had fun. There didn't seem to be any bad seats in the house. The music and speakers were well heard and understandable.Afterwards, we walked around the Stockyards. Great location.Overall, a good time.

This was my 1st indoor rodeo event and it was a blast, we would recommend anyone able to check out a showcase to do so. The food was good, the drinks we good and the people were super nice. I would have loved to have given 5 stars, but for 2 things. 1st...the quality of the PA system there is horrible. If there was music or something playing when the MC was talking (which was a majority of the time) then you couldn't understand what he was saying. 2nd was the service fee charged with the tickets, which I didn't catch until the next day. It was $60 a ticket for the Roping Box section (fine), but then the box office charged an additional $27 as a service fee....are you kidding me? What the hell for? For printing out 2 tickets and a receipt? Maybe if you buy them on-line, that won't be charged? I don't know, but that amount is pretty ridiculous.

Our favorite rodeo. Great family fun. Historical town, street and building. This building was built in 1908. Always great fun. If you pay extra to sit in the front 2 rows it is padded.

You cannot say that you have known Texas and its lifestyle (past and present) well without attending and immersing yourself in a Rodeo. We watched the Stockyards Championship Rodeo on July 22nd, 2023 and, in my opinion, Fort Worth is the most atmospheric place where to watch a Rodeo. Tradition and respect for animals can coexist. If you are in Fort Worth or Dallas and a Rodeo is taking place, do not hesitate to book a ticket for a unique two hours show.

This was my first rodeo. I'm from Indiana. I had a great time. I bought seats in Cowboy Corner and I loved it. I would come again.

We saw a rodeo here. From the beautiful prayer and national anthem, to the incredible athleticism and display of Texan culture, to the cold beer - this was one of my favorite event experiences in years. You must go.

The venue itself is nice and you have an actual seat to sit in. It is not bench seating. I would say the Friday and Saturday night rodeos are fun but don’t expect professional quality. We went and no one had cleared 8 seconds on a bull for 3 straight nights. In many of the events on one rider or roper made the leader board too. Understandable as the rodeo goes year round. Having the best quality ropers and riders would be hard. Still fun, you can find free parking on the streets nearby, and the price is reasonable.

Rodeo night was great, all cowboys and cowgirls have a great and courageous performance! The crowd cheered them on and I believe all had a good time. Our seats were perfectly in the middle were we could see and enjoy views from both ends of the Arena. Enjoyed it especially because it was safe and fun for many young children!Id recommend it as a must see place next time you're in the Ft. Worth area!

Fun night at the coliseum! Great crowd and super entertaining. There's concession stands on either side and a few bar stands! And did I mention there's AC?!? Omg! I highly recommend a rodeo when in Ft Worth!

Cowtown Coliseum is quite the venue to watch a rodeo. This was my second rodeo and much better than the previous one I attended.

There is not a bad seat for viewing the action in the arena, good lighting and sound system is clear.

Not sure how to rate it but I had a great time. I didn't get any food or anything here but the rodeo was fun. $92 for two people. We got our tickets early and got front row seating. We wander and sat at different spots to get different vantage points. Highly recommend if you have never been to a rodeo before.
