Zack, Rfal, and Austin were the best! So gentle and fast with all my belongings. They were definitely such a help it made the move so much easier and mentally so much less stressful. Can’t recommend enough!

The movers who actually packaged/unpackaged everything up were great, both in Dallas and Chicago; however, the customer service was not. 2 of our items were damaged in the move. We paid $1000 to receive expedited service. Our furniture did not arrive on the date promised so we had to sleep on our floor for several days. They did refund us the $1000, but I really don't think they would have if we hadn't asked.
I believe his name was Zack, was in charge of the pickup. He added a stair charge fee even though we told him our stairs at our new place were inside (per their policy you won't be charged for stairs that are inside the building). He estimated our furniture would take up half of the truck and this is what our final square footage cost would be based on. He left as soon as I signed the contract, he never showed us how much of the truck our furniture actually took up.
Michelle (customer service) was very hard to get in contact with when we had problems. When we told her the movers left a mark on our ceiling she asked us, "How did you know it was them?" When we told her about our experience with Zack she didn't believe us.
Our final balance was more than twice as much as what we were originally quoted for, granted, we added things but not that much. Have your movers come in person to assess the square footage of your furniture instead of doing it online so you are not blindsided but the final cost after they load everything up****
I would look elsewhere for movers.

Worst moving company in the history of moving companies. The girl running the office is incredibly unprofessional and rude. I was lied to multiple times about when my things would arrive and the condition in which they came was appalling mirrors broken and boxes opened and things falling out of them. Im missing so much stuff and can get no response from anyone in the office. Was overcharged by $6000. If you use this company you will not be happy with the outcome.

Texas Movers Group should be CRIMINALLY INVESTIGATED for their PREDATORY PRACTICES.
BUYER BEWARE. This company uses classic bait and switch scam techniques in order to gain your business. They lure you in with the false promises of low rates, then on the day of pickup they inflate their price 100% and demand payment via cash or Zelle. This is how a professional business conducts themselves? It’s sketchy to say the absolute least.
You will consistently be heckled and verbally berated for money, and after you have paid you will be ghosted. It takes 6+ phone calls for them to even answer, only to place you on hold. They hire drivers from Craigslist to do deliveries with no criminal background check. This company also brokers out your move to a third party service and until then your belongings sit in a warehouse. I STRONGLY advise you place trackers in your belongings or you will be ignored or gaslight as to their whereabouts. The ONLY good part about them was the people who actually wrap and move your belongings, as they are quick and efficient.

Go Away From this Company; They over charged and on top of it I get abusive person to deliver my goods; he is abusive racist comments and was disturbing the piece in the community; a company hires such drivers and he hired two Craigslist people to move the stuff into my house (no background checks) - his crew didn't show up obviously! Such a horrible company to - don't waste your time and money on these bunch of useless people

If I could leave negative stars I would! From start to finish this was the worst experience of my life. My boxes arrived 2 weeks late and were damaged. When the truck finally arrived my boxes fell out of the back of the uhaul they forced me to have to pay for because the incompetent truck driver said he couldn't make it down my street. The manager lady was so rude and uncaring about what was going on and the communication between her and her drivers was nonexistent. He said one thing she said another. A $3900 move ended up costing me over $10000 and when I filed a claim about missing boxes no one has ever gotten back to me. Completely unprofessional would not recommend!!

Horrible experience. The manager Zach was the rudest person I have ever encountered. Tommy Lee is a flat out liar. Michelle tries to intimidate you all while they are raising your move feee. I was quoted a fee that was non- negotiable and by the state of Texas they are mandated to uphold. I was still charged more than double my original quote. When everything was finally delivered I was able to see what they charged the driver vs. me. It was DOUBLE the sq ft I paid for. unfortunately, after all this I did more research and they do this to everyone. Any positive review on here is fake or a friend. I wish I would have pressed charges. STAY AWAY!
