I took my car in for an oil change. They finished the oil change then started messing with something around my front tire. He came back & said I need work done on my front axle. I told him I will get it done another time. Now I have an oil leak problem that I’ve never had. I took it back for them to fix the problem. Now they are saying the problem will cost over $1,000 to fix. Before I took my car there I have NEVER had these problems.

Fast oil change. Quick brake change. And AFFORDABLE! Hard to find honest mechanics but so far they have been honest and fair to me.

STAY AWAY. Wish it would let me give a zero star, The owner of this place is a scumbag. I bought in my car for electrical work to fix a turning signal. Upon arrival nobody came to me I had to park my car and go fetch someone inside the garage, after explaining what I needed to get done I told the guy 3 different times to make sure he called me BEFORE doing any work to my car that way I knew exactly what was gonna get done, breakdown and prices. A day later I notice I haven’t received a call so I make my way there to ensure everything is going accordingly, upon arrival I’m told that the work has been done and it’s gonna be $250. I explained that I told them to not to the work without my authorization. He showed me the phone number on file and they had the last digit wrong so he blamed me because I wrote it and blamed my handwriting, he then showed me the paper and it CLEARLY shows the numbers. I explained that even if it was my fault due to my request of not doing the work without my say so I would’ve ratherrd my car be untouched which is the most logical thing to do. the guy starts telling me a bunch of stuff about wiring work and “once he begins, he can’t stop” and that even just a diagnostics was $130 which I was not informed of when dropping my car off, so I don’t get what the point of a diagnostics is, if you’re gonna go ahead and do the work right away. After explaining that the reason why I told him to call me first is that I do not have $250 to pay. He tried to work with me on the price and dropped it $25 but the issue was that the work was done before I gave authorization. I get someone on the phone to speak to the owner and after maybe a minute he hung up and said he had no time for that, he told me to leave and said that if I did not pay he was gonna put a lien on my vehicle, trying to get away with scamming people out of their money. I had my price dropped down to $200 which I was obligated to pay, but left EXTREMELY disappointed with the way their system is, very disorganized, and a shady way to do business.
If you want to get charged without your acknowledgement then this is the place for you.

I have been working with Speedy’s Auto for several years now. I want to especially thank Mel for his great service and fixing my AC issue as the days in Texas start heating up. He was very thorough in explaining the repair and what needed to be done and I appreciate that. Angel and Dale and the whole crew are always helpful!!!
