Just popped into the Rural Home store. What a wonderfully warm reception from the team of ladies working in the store. There was a great selection of gifts and homeware's to buy and we treated ourselves to a new Christmas bauble. They carry the yummiest Pecan Flour at the Counter tooo. Adore all the Lil journals, dishes, tea towels, faux flowers, pillows, blankets, lamps, mineral paints, antiques, refinished pieces, fantastic landscape art, truly great contemporary style and colorful rustic decor. They also support many local artists - which you may get extra lucky and meet one visiting the shop.

What a lovely place! A little bit of everything and a price range for all budgets! My best friend and I were on a girls getaway this week and stopped in just browsing. The owner was a lively, lovely woman who was delightful to chat with! She gave us great advice on where to stop for food and for a bathroom! I highly recommend stopping by--we will definitely be back!

This shop has it all! I love stopping at The Rural Home to browse. Just entering the shop is an experience in itself and a nice chance to slow down and look at the details of all the items on display. It's the kind of store full of surprises and wonderful, unique gifts. My husband and I have purchased antique books from here, candles, hand-knit headbands, pies from Texas Pie Company...the list goes on! I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a special item or gift.
