What a great gym! Can’t say enough about it. We were in town visiting friends and did a drop in on the 9am class. The coach and staff were excellent! The coach-led warmup was top notch. The tips and pointers provided during the class were excellent. This is probably the cleanest and best organized CrossFit gym I’ve seen. A+++++

Dropped in to CrossFit 2nd Wave while in Dripping Springs for a wedding. Great community, stellar coaching, and challenging workouts. Clean gym with high quality equipment. Highly recommend for anyone that’s in the area looking for a place to get a killer workout. Anytime I’m nearby I’ll be stopping in!

My physician recommended I get on top of some resistance training, and advised me of a crossfit gym in Dripping Springs... I'm new to the whole crossfit thing, and was worried it would be crazy intense 'hit by a mack truck' experience, but these folks are great. Kristen, Brian (owner), and Becky are SUPER supportive with teaching proper form and the right amount of weight to start off with.I'm on my 2nd week, so far three classs under my belt, and I look forward to getting back into the gym with my workout group. I already know a bunch of people and they're super newbie friendly.I'm training for a triathlon at the end of May, and this is going to get me into the best shape of my life I am sure about that. It will also keep my physician happy about getting my BP under control and some other vitals. I read somewhere that we lose about 10% of our muscle every decade... that ends today.Love this place.

I starting doing CrossFit workouts in my garage gym but after my 4th kiddo, it became clear I needed real coaching. Becky and Brian are amazing at teaching proper form and have helped this postpartum mama scale appropriately along the process. There are no intimidating vibes at all. Everyone at the gym is incredibly welcoming and supportive!

After being a gym rat for decades and making the change to CrossFit Second Wave 2+ years ago, I can honestly say the experience has been exceptional. Fantastic, knowledgeable coaching, improved strength and mobility (with a constant challenge to always improve), and a welcoming and growing community. Give it a try! Great people.

CrossFit Second Wave has been the spark I was looking for in my workout journey. What to expect: as soon as you walk through the door you’ll be greeted by friendly faces. You’ll be training with a supportive group of people and knowledgeable coaches. You’ll get tips on workout movements and supported through the whole workout to ensure proper form. Can’t do a particular move, don’t worry, they’ll modify it for you but you’ll still get the same benefit. Three months in and I have seen great results. Definitely getting stronger day by day. Definitely recommend stopping by and giving it a try!

I’ve been doing CrossFit for 8 years now. Moving here from NJ almost 3 years ago, I dropped in at a handful of CrossFit gyms, but couldn’t find one that I clicked with.2.5 years ago I dropped in at CrossFit Second Wave in hopes to find a gym close to work & I’ve been a member ever since!! This is the most welcoming CrossFit gym I’ve ever been to! All the coaches are insanely educated and knowledgeable - I STILL learn something new from them everyday. I couldn’t recommend this gym enough. Amazing community, good programming, 24/7 access, always so so clean, and so much fun! Come check them out! ??

I’m SO thankful to have found this gym! I have had chronic back pain for the past 15 years and would throw my back out multiple times a year that would then lead to being “out” for weeks while it healed. In the two years I have been a member at CrossFit Second Wave, my back has never been stronger and my pain is completely gone. The coaching is the best, and they work with you around your specific needs to be as strong as you can be.

CrossFit 2nd Wave is an excellent place to get healthy, get in shape, and meet great people.The staff are highly trained and highly dedicated. Two of the full-time trainers are Level 3 Certified CrossFit trainers, with an in-depth understanding of exercise science, anatomy, and CrossFit training.The facilities are very good, with high-quality weights and equipment.The best thing about CrossFit 2nd Wave is the approach to training and the positive attitudes the staff conveys. Whether you’re a high-caliber athlete or a beginner who wants to get back into shape, you will be treated with the same level of attention and respect. More importantly, you will be motivated by staff to achieve your goals, but you won’t be pushed to go beyond what is reasonable to accomplish at your current fitness level.I have been working out at CrossFit 2nd Wave for 2 years, and have definitely improved my all-around fitness. I offer my highest recommendation.

I’ve been a member here for about 6 months and couldn’t be happier. I’ve gone from having no idea what I was doing to losing 30 pounds and feeling great. Bryan and staff are welcoming of all skill levels and will help you grow at your own pace. They’re encouraging without feeling like pressure.

Crossfit Second Wave is a great gym with a great community. The coaches are awesome at what they do and make the workouts a lot of fun. I love the hero wods on Saturday to honor fallen heros. Great way to show respect to our military vets and first responders!

I have been a member of CrossFit Second Wave for about 6 months now. The gym has all the bells and whistles you could want to get a grueling full-body workout (or as intense as you'd like to make it), and never be bored. The coaching is excellent - you can tell all owners and staff members genuinely care about technique, safety, and modification of exercise to cater to all skill levels. Additionally, the community is uniquely tight which adds fun and flavor to the gym. I highly recommend 2nd Wave to anyone at any level of fitness, which is a rare accomplishment!

My wife and I just finished day 1 with the 5am class. We've never tried CrossFit before but we had a basic idea of what we were getting ourselves into.Bryan guided us through the basics, made sure we had good form to prevent injury and supported us as we moved through the different workouts.The rest of the attendees were great. They showed support, cheered us on and were just happy to have us there.If you're looking to get started in CrossFit, but you're afraid to take that first step, this is the perfect place for you.
