This walgreens pharmacy in uptown Dallas needs some help. They keep you on hold and then you can hear when they pick up the phone and then hang up on you. This location needs a pharmacy manager to get this team onbaord and to better help the community in the surrounding area.

This Walgreens has its ups and down, as would any walgreens store. Some people are just impatient and unkind. I know you all try your best everyday, you guys are always so nice and to some people that is all that matters. I have seen so many rude people be mean to your employees and I am sorry you have to deal with that some days. I appreciate your patience. Keep up the good work, I know some people leave bad reviews out of spite, but that is their issue.

Busiest Pharmacy in Dallas, not for you, go some place else. Every time I go when I sit and watch the technicians I can really tell they are trying their best, I can also tell they are a little short staffed and have a lot of new faces, new technicians have to learn somehow.. A small amount of patience goes a long way. With it being peak vaccination season they are even more busy. So if you see this before going into the store, be prepared for a potentially longer than usual line, but the technicians are always so nice. Just be patient, not that hard. And if you don't have the time to sit and wait, then come back another time. Not rocket science. Don't blame them for your poor time management ☺️

Poor customer service, will have you on hold and when answer will put you back on hold just to hang up the phone. After all of that foolishness call back and no one answer and you wonder why an attitude is given when you have to drive all the way to the store and you four people working. If I could give this a negative 1 I would.

Cons: Piss poor customer service. They constantly keep you on hold then just hang up. They could have the decency of explaining that they are busy or short staffed, but nope they just let the phone stay on hold for 20, 30, 40, 50 plus minutes at a time. They can't keep techs staffed. They blame their system on any mishaps instead of taking accountability themselves. Most of the techs have a attitude.
I can continue but what's the point. You get it. This location is TRASH.
Pros: It's 24 hrs.
Today 9/23 was the last straw. We're finding another pharmacy.

I was given the completely wrong prescription & trying to resolve this to get the right scrip when disconnected with no callback.
I am still giving 2 stars for the staff as they are always kind and I know they are trying to do their best. However, after being on hold 22 minutes for a pharmacist today, only to be hung up on prefaced by a weird recording mid conversation with said pharmacist who then doesn’t bother to call back despite being mid conversation is not ok. Very frustrating. Not demure not mindful …. Please call people back who’ve been patiently holding over 20 minutes when an issue is not resolved. Especially an issue I had zero responsibility in creating.

The staff are kind and, if anything, overworked. But the service quality for passport photos is terrible, in large part because the store uses a photo backdrop screen with a tear down the middle. This requires the staff to take onerous amounts of time manually editing the picture to remove the tear, all while handling other, more pressing customer service issues. The location manager at this Walgreens needs to invest in a functional screen if it is going to offer passport pictures. As I write this review, I’m 45 minutes into a visit that would have taken 10 minutes at a better managed location.

Held for 40 minutes on the phone for the Pharmacy and then got hung up on… really disappointed.

I usually use the pharmacy off Beckley since I work at Methodist Hospital right across the street and transferred my script to the McKinney location since I have been sick for over 48 hours and can hardly drive. Have been on hold for over 21 minutes with the pharmacy and they keep putting me on hold never speaking to an actual person… just hearing them pick up and put me immediately back on hold. This is unacceptable. I will make sure not to make this mistake again.

Have been on hold for 25 minutes for the second time, because the first time after waiting 30 minutes on hold because they hung up on me. This is absolutely ridiculous.
