Jennifer, Jay, & Erick were super friendly and helpful. Our bed was the perfect comfort level. Coffee was great every morning. Amazing water pressure and the temp would get hot. Bathtub was soothing. AC works great and our room had a balcony. Safe, courteous, amazing staff!

It was my first time visiting Dallas and just flew in and made it to the property. This property has left me with a horrid experience. This has by far been the worst property that I’ve ever been to in my life. I trusted all of the reviews and posted pictures and from that gave it a fair chance.Upon checking into my room the first thing that I noticed was hair strands in almost every single corner of my room from the curtains to under the sheets and the pillows. I immediately addressed this issue with the front desk asking to change rooms or cancel my reservation and was told I could cancel but would not receive a refund for any of the nights that I’d booked with the property. I asked if I could get a different room and was told that the GM wasn’t in and I’d have to wait until the next day to see if he’d authorize a transfer to a new room. I was then told by the front desk associate that the only accommodations that they could provide me with was a garbage bag with new bed linens, towels (that I was instructed that I’d have to change myself) a commercial bottle of antibacterial spray and a microfiber cleaning towel. I was asked to return the cleaning spray so that housekeeping could use it to clean the next day.I attempted to sleep on the pull out couch but it had a nasty brown mattress with no sheets and trash, rollers and cigarette wrappers from the guest before lodged with the folds of the bed. That night after sanitizing my room and changing my own linens in the bedroom I was greeted by roaches crawling out of the television that was screwed to the dresser. I recorded the infestation and at 7am the next day I visited the front desk again asking to speak with the General Manager. I showed him the pictures of the hair, explained to him what was discussed the night before and provided him the video of the roaches. He seemed apologetic at the time and spoke with the front desk manager to transfer me into a new room.He explained that because this was a “long term stay” property the first room that I was issued was next to a guest who was a hoarder and the roach infestation may have traveled to the room that I was in. The front desk manager acted surprised to see the roaches. They transferred me to a room next to the infested room on the same floor only for the room to have even more roaches than the last room. From my understanding this property actually has newly renovated rooms on the opposite side of the property but it seems as though those rooms are only given to a selected few… whomever the manager decides they want to put there. It has literally been a stay of utter hell! I showed the Front Desk Manager the new footage of the roaches in the new room and he told me he’d take my phone number down and have the GM call me regarding this issue. I never received a call and after coming down to speak with the GM in person I was simply avoided. I had children with me and had to book a room at another hotel for the remaining nights while still paying for this roach infested property. Not only did I have to pay for a different hotel, this room at the Sonesta suites but also a hefty $175 incidental charge that I was told would not be refunded until 10 days after checkout. This place would receive zero stars if I had that ability.Food & drinks: The pictures that are posted on the booking site is nothing close to my experience at this hotel. They’ve stated “breakfast included” however only had a few slices of stale bread, thick oatmeal that I can only assume that they refrigerate and reheat the next day, a big bowl of yogurt, and a few boiled eggs. The “Market Place” literally looked like an old gas station convenience store with old left over snacks as if they were going out of business and having a close out sale on snacks.Noteworthy details: After checking out and turning in my key I asked if there was a place to hold my carry on luggage and was told to leave it in the corner of the dining area.

Nice hotel, and everything was clean. The only issue was that the drawers were loose and kept coming out, and the shampoo and conditioner seemed watered down.

Terrible Hotel. Stayed there for NCA and were first confronted with no possibility to park to check in. Then the grounds were dirty, parking lot had potholes, elevator and hallways had stains and dirt EVERYWHERE. Room was extremely small and we we given a 100sq ft room for 3 people with a small pull out single. Smells throughout the hotel and room were atrocious.Parking lot was very sketchy with a empty gas station with 50 cars in which people were working on them outside. Homeless strolling through the parking lot and had to watch my back. We checked out before our full stay and checked into the Fairfield Inn and suites for the same price at Marriot at Dallas central 5 miles away and was MUCH SAFER AND MUCH CLEANER

Clean enough, spacious rooms. They have rooms with small fridges but no microwave. They hold events that can be quite noisy even in the upper levels. Their rooms have a nice work space if you need it. Friendly

One of the best hotels I have stayed in! Very good guys at the front desk. Although located right off the highway, this hotel was very quiet and easy to get a good sleep in, and I am a light sleeper. The rooms were clean, it's in a great area, and it has everything you need. Can't say enough good about this hotel. I enjoyed my stay.

I went to a Valentine event that someone I knew was hosting. I worked at this event serving the married couples food and I also did a short speech on love.

I was staying at this hotel because of the proximity to the hospital where my wife was in ICU. Good location if you want your car stolen like me and the lazy security guard spends most of his time inside an empty lobby instead of patrolling the parking lot. The room smelled like stale air and management can't even do the bare minimum of putting 1 camera view on the only way in or out of the complex. Had the gall to tell me yes lots of cars get stolen from this specific area. So he knew about the very big and frequent issue, but has done nothing to protect his guests. Way to go plausible denialibility. Do NOT stay here if you want to be safe 12 feet from a crime and drug deals going down at Sonesta ES (extended stay) in the same one way in one way out complex. Had previous guests not flat out lied about the quality or security of this hotel, I would have picked one of the other 7-8 hotels right next door

My favorite hotel! I stay here every single time I come to visit my son in Dallas.

The rooms reek of a moldy/musty smell. My husband and I stayed here due to inclement weather and working at the nearby hospital. Our first room’s bathroom had mold growing on the ceiling, so we requested a different room. The pictures on the website of the rooms are deceiving. Seems like they tried to update the hotel but the updates only seem apparent in the main lobby. I requested a microwave for my reservation. There was no microwave in the room upon arrival. After asking again, I received a microwave the following day. The microwave that was received was filthy.Overall I would not recommend to anyone.

The Sonesta ES Suites is an apartment hotel. It has a kitchen, separate rooms with bathrooms, and a small dining space and living room. When we arrived, there were no comforters on the beds, only fitted and flat sheets and a cushion. We called the office and after 38 rings the young women sent comforters. She was SO apologetic about the situation too. It was 9 degrees. The can opener broke as we made chili. She brought us a brand new one. No questions. She is really sweet. The rooms were okay for a 1-night quick stay. Personally, I couldn't stay longer than that. The pictures on the website didn't match what we experienced. The breakfast was less than meh. They served boiled eggs, 3 kinds of cereal with whole milk, oatmeal, breads: English muffin, wheat and white bread, and strawberry puff pastry. There is a waffle maker and finally, orange and apple juice.Overall and in comparison to other hotels I've experienced, I'd give Sonesta ES Suites a ⭐⭐ rating out of 5.

During my stay at Sonesta Suites, I encountered several issues that significantly impacted the quality of my visit. Despite its reasonable pricing, the hotel fell short in terms of service and amenities.A major inconvenience was the bathroom sink stopper, which was nearly unusable. When the front desk was notified, a staff member managed to pry it open with a screwdriver, causing accumulated debris to spill over the sink. The cursory cleanup and promise to address the issue further were disappointing, especially since the promised maintenance never materialized. The television service was another source of frustration. While cable channels like CNN and ESPN were available, the network channels seemed to rely on an unreliable antenna system. This led to frequent interruptions, with channels either losing signal or suffering from digital pixelation. It detracted significantly from the overall comfort and relaxation that a guest room should offer.Adding to the list of inconveniences, the ice machine on our floor was out of order, completely without power. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, they seemed unaware of the issue and said they would open a ticket. The lack of a working ice machine on our floor and the staff's apparent lack of knowledge about it were not just inconvenient but also indicative of poor communication and maintenance within the hotel. While the stay was decent in terms of cost, the overall experience at Sonesta Suites was underwhelming. The issues with the bathroom, television service, and the non-functional ice machine point to a lack of attention to guest comfort and convenience. Given these experiences, I believe there are much better hotel options available in Dallas that are likely to offer a more satisfactory stay.
