For a lifetime the equipment was rather old and out of order, the floors and locker room were dirty, and the amenities such as the cafe, spa, and help desks were all closed by 6pm of a Friday. I currently go to the Las Colinas location in Texas and I believe that this location in Dallas doesn’t meet the standards of what a lifetime experience should be. I would find the gym standards acceptable if a membership was under $100, but a gym membership is upwards of $150.

This Life Time charges $229 per month and has not updated any of their equipment. The machines are old and they literally only have ONE incline bench press. Unacceptable. All other big box gyms have more than ONE incline bench press.

Clean, equipment options are nice and available most of the time or kindly taking turns on. Staff are very kind and helpful. Love the classes as well. Childcare seems good so far also, but I don't use it a lot.
Note: I usually go during the weekday mornings before lunch or right after lunch. I am lucky enough to be able to avoid peek times when it's really busy.

The only normal complaint about this gym is that they have people selling stuff as you literally walk in before you can check into the desk. Probably one of the worst management decisions one could make is annoying your patrons the moment they exist at your facility. Bravo ?? let's just have a bouncer at the top that smashes in our faces next
I love when people both complain about the gym being packed, and then bring up the price after.
The gym is still best in the area aside from Equinox

I go here because there really isn't a good gym option within reasonable distance from my house. I don't care about the amenities and just want to use the gym, so this isn't really worth the cost. For what I'm paying I should have access to top name brands. This place has Technogym. Just cheap knockoffs of Hammer Strength, but with terrible range of motion. The company needs to stop acting like this is a top tier brand if they are going to be stingy when it comes to the equipment. Two stars because the staff is pretty cool even if the company sucks.
Update: it just keeps getting worse. It's impossible to follow a program because every machine is either taken by someone who loaded it down with weight and then does partial reps or the social partiers who jast stand around talking. I hate this place.

Life Time has started to limit members over 65 times they can work out? If you have a membership thru your insurance, you can only work out 9am to 3pm? This target elderly members, and this is enforced by the person when you enter the facility. Shame on you Life Time!

I was a member for 10 years and they kept raising the membership rate especially in the last 2 years it’s raised 3 times, doubling the fee I was paying. I went to the YMCA and they offer everything that LifeTime does for 1/3 of the price. When I put my notice in to cancel my LifeTime membership I never had anyone from corporate reach out asking if there was anything to do to keep their member of 10 years. Poor customer service in my opinion.

I can't recommend Nicole enough! She's not only incredibly talented with hair and skincare, but she's also knowledgeable, personable, and always punctual. With my busy schedule, her efficiency and clear communication are a lifesaver. Nicole truly is an amazing stylist and esthetician!

My family and I have been LifeTime members for many years and have visited LifeTime Fitness locations in several different states. We experienced the worst customer service at the Highland Park, Texas location a few weeks ago. I waited three weeks to do this review hoping that the front desk staff member would follow through on her commitment have the general manager call me. Unfortunately, I have not received a call and I suspect that the staff member never forwarded my concern to the general manager. Disappointed in the customer service at this location, but greatful for the amazing customer service I have received at the other LifeTime locations I have visited and my home gym. Still would be open to talking to the general manager about my experience.

I really, really love Lifetime in general. I have been a member off and on for over 20 years and in different states. This facility is smaller than most others, but the price is still premium. The basketball court is the centerpiece of the club and the noise dominates, permeates the place. The machines and weight-lifting areas are great, but it does get crowded during peak hours (between 4:30pm and 7:30pm). During this time, classes fill up pretty quick, too.One of the biggest reasons I joined again was because I could enjoy the hot tub in the men's locker room without having to wear a suit. It makes it more of a spa-like experience. I hope this doesn't change.I pay a lot for this club which doesn't have swimming pools, so the clothing-optional hot tub is a nice perk!
