I've been an LA Fitness member for decades, and have seen a lot of ups and downs. I have experienced the lowest of the lows this week, and need to make some noise in an attempt to remedy a situation that could be life threatening to members.
The AC system has basically been out for three days (the racquetball courts are cool, but nothing else is), and it is hot in the workout area at lunch time. By the end of the day, it is dangerously hot, magnified by exercise, which people come here to do.
It is mid August in Dallas, and we get up to about 100 every day this time of year, with lows around 80. Accordingly, the club gets hotter ever day that the issue goes unfixed.
There have been clues that the system was failing- the AC in the locker rooms has not worked for months.
This is the first of my reviews and phone calls directed at many places to try to get this situation remedied, and I will not stop every day until the issue is fixed, which could take weeks or months based on past experiences.

Huge space. Always hot though probably from the amount of people. Worth it though. Never have to wait during non peak hours.

Just rode past and saw the gym and decided to get a tour. We were greeted by Bryan and instantly felt at home. Long story short I’m excited to start my new fitness journey. We loved everything about the tour!

I was visiting this gym for the weekend. We were visiting, my daughter had a tournament in the area. I have an LA fitness in my area that I’m a member of and was thankful there’s one was close to the tournament. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly kind and welcoming. In fact all 3 days I visited he was there and genuinely made me feel like he was happy I showed up. I haven’t experienced that ever at my gym.
When I’m back in Dallas I will for sure be back. Devonte is his name.
The gym was clean and well maintained.

This gym is so much better than the Haskell and Mockingbird locations. Everything here is always clean and tidy and it's never as busy as the other gyms. My only complaint is sometimes staff don't refill the sanitizing wipes quickly enough, and the mens locker room smells like balls. Other than that it's great.

Lacks the professionalism expected. Poor Customer service. Where are the adults? I felt like I was taking to children. Poor leadership evident by the poorly trained staff on initial phone customer calls. I would look for another gym who wants clients.

Cleanest LA club in DFW. The showers and restrooms smell and look good. They also just updated some of there equipment

Kelly, apparently the manager of this location, was extremely unhelpful and unwilling to assist with my issue. Buyer beware: Either record your conversations, or get a written email of every single member incentive offered to you at sign up, because when you go to use it, they will claim they have no notes on file of your conversation or anything that was offered to you upon sign up! Will be taking my business elsewhere and I encourage you to do the same! Customer service here is non-existent. Would give 0 stars if I could!

Called about a single gym membership and was told they did have them but weren’t allowed to price them over the phone. Came in just to waste time and hang the sales person say they did t have them. Sketchy sales tactics.. hard pass
