I’ve had a wonderful experience living here! The apartment itself is spacious and beautifully maintained, with modern appliances and a layout that maximizes comfort and convenience. The natural light that floods the rooms creates such a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The building's amenities are top-notch—there's a well-equipped gym and a sparkling pool that’s perfect for unwinding after a long day. The staff is incredibly friendly especially Brandon, the Manager. They are always responsive; any maintenance requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
The location is fantastic too, with easy access to public transportation and a variety of shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Overall, this place has truly felt like home, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Highly recommended!

The good: location.
The bad:
1. Leaks and mold: my unit leaked 4 times during my 1-year stay (I was not on the first floor). Twice two different Windows leaked from heavy rain. Twice the ceiling leaked due to the units above me. You can see from the series of photos that it went from a small drip on the ceiling to complete flooding and destruction of walls, door frame and floor because the Ele waited two weeks to fix a leak. The fix was cosmetic instead of the complete replacement promised, and for sure I then discovered mold(see last photo). There was a lot of reasons offered (corporate approval, vendor etc.), but my health and basic standard of living was certainly not the team's priority.
2. Lack of communication: between the frequent change of management and personnel, it was difficult to get responses. I moved out a month ago and have not heard back regarding my deposit at all. Judging by other reviews, probably won't hear back.
3. Bad Internet: already raised by others, can confirm. I was losing my VPN every five minutes.
4. Generally bad building quality, thin walls/ceilings and noise
5. Lax rules: neighbors having late night parties, trash, bad behaving animals etc.

I’m sure you’ll read plenty of reviews about this place. Let mine be your guiding light. While the Ele has an absolutely fantastic location being in lower Greenville, the benefits of this building abruptly end there. There are plenty of issues with this building from flooding, truly paper thin walls, garage doors constantly being broken etc but I’m not here to rant about those many issues today if you would like to see that scroll down. I’m here to talk about their biggest issue and it’s the biggest red flag you’ll deal with, internet.
This company forces you to pay $80 a month for the internet plan and provider of their choice. The speed at best is 300mbps which you can get from AT&T fiber just for your apt for $50 but nooooo the Ele needs their cut and unfortunately their internet speed is for the whole building not just your apartment! Resulting in speeds so horrendously low it’s honestly pathetic in 2024 a place could have such slow internet speed. You think I’m over-exaggerating please look at the picture. This pic is at 2:20 pm on a workday. AT 2:20PM ON A WORKDAY MY INTERNET SPEED THAT I AM FORCED TO PAY $80 A MONTH FOR IS BELOW 1mbps I HAVE NEVER SEEN INTERNET IN A FIRST WORLD COUNTRY THAT SLOW. If you work remotely from home like me, just forget about doing it in this building. The amount of meetings that have dropped has literally gotten me into trouble at work to the point where I have to go to a coffee shop daily or suffer this. I’m telling you first hand this stuff will directly affect your job and work performance and between that and all the other complaints you’ll see in these reviews living in this building is absolutely just not worth it, if it was possible to break my lease without a fine I would have done it yesterday.
To summarize, if you want to live on Greenville Ave, go to the Alexan. It may be 100-200 more in rent a month but you’ll save that money, time, and stress avoiding all the insane amount of issues in this building.
I would like to say I loved the old staff and the new one has been helpful too, no issues with them it’s just this building and management company are garbage.

Just don’t live here. I lived here for over a year and it was great for about the first 6 months. The staff began having some issues and to say they progressed is an understatement. It became impossible to even find someone who worked there.
I moved out about 2 months ago and STILL have not received my deposit. When I finally had someone respond to me they insulted me, acting as if I were being dramatic, and pretended like it wasn’t a big deal. They were hoping I would forget.
The location is amazing but if I could do it again I would live at the Alexan and pay an extra few hundred bucks. Save yourself the headache.

Beautiful apartment complex. Jeo and his team were very helpful in the leasing process. Ele feels very safe and secure!

Great location, but be mindful that you will hear every single footstep from the resident above you. It's extremely annoying when trying to read, watch a movie, and sleep. If you can get an apartment on the top floor go for it, otherwise go somewhere else where they have concrete blocks separating the apartments.

Just moved out, thankfully. First floor floods every time it rains. No units have their washers hooked up upon move-in, which caused flooding in multiple units (just read the other reviews to verify). No telling how much mold lies under the carpets in the hallway on the 1st floor.
The unit I lived in was 123 - a brand new, never-lived-in-until-me unit.
In my less than 12 months of occupying this unit, I put in service requests for the following: 1) washer not hooked up, 2) dishwasher didn't work, 3) refrigerator ice machine didn't work, 4) kitchen sink hot water only got lukewarm and the water heater closest was locked with no key so I couldn't get in, 5) dryer sounded like a jackhammer, 6) termites, 7) toilet seat cracked, 8) electrical outlet plate crumbled off the wall, 9) parking garage gate was beeping every 30 seconds to which the guy on the phone asked me if I could identify it myself, and I politely informed him that was his job, 10) internet didn't work for days and the apartment complex eventually switched providers, 11) beeping noise every second from 5-6:30AM through the thin walls, 12) broken umbrella and broken glass in the pool, which my daughter cut her foot on, 13) outside windows only get cleaned once a year, 14) package locker wouldn't close, 15) riser room leak which went through the wall into my apartment.
The construction quality is lousy and the noise level from the parking garage is extremely loud at all hours. The owner, RangeWater out of Atlanta, GA, is constantly changing the "rules", which aren't enforced but they're sure to make sure there's a new fee involved with it.
This experience was, without a doubt, one of the worst living situations I've ever had. After reading others' experiences, I'm sure I shouldn't expect my deposit back either.
The building should be torn down and rebuilt with a higher-quality of construction and management so living on lowest Greenville can be the happy experience it should be for everyone.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!
I this is the first google review I have really felt inclined to leave, but I needed to share my experience so anyone considering moving here is warned. Apologies in advance for the essay, but this sadly didn't even cover everything.
My husband and I moved into this apartment in April of last year and have had nothing but issues since moving in. We moved into a new unit that had never been lived in before and on our first night, the apartment was flooded due to the drain hose not being installed in our washing machine. Come to learn later on, the whole 1st floor had flooded due to the lack of drainage in/around the building which is why these units opened up later. This continued to be an issue every time we had big thunderstorms, and the hallways would flood.
On top of the poor management, which I will get into later, the residents here treat it like a dorm and do not clean up after themselves, will no repercussions from management. There has been throw up, pet waste, broken glass (just to name a few) left in our elevator on multiple occasions and sometimes for multiple days. There has been trash left around the entire property, and even on our patio including chewed gum, cigarette/joint butts, cans, and even a broom, all of which were thrown down from the lovely people living above us that decided to use our patio as a trash can. And when you are paying 3k+ per month for an apartment, this is just insane.
Now to get to the management (Range Water). Yikes. Ill start off by saying that in the 13 months we lived here, the complex went through 3 completely different teams of office staff. We have had some great office staff (Tori and Tory) and some not so great office staff (pretty much everyone else). To sum up our experience here, this is just how our move out process has gone:
We submitted our notice to vacate on 2/24/24, more than 60 days notice, and well before our 4/30 move out date. We received an email back with a document stating that our last day would be 4/23, which we thought was odd, but did not question it and relied on what we were being told. Our final rent check was paid via a cashier’s check (which they did not tell us we needed until 4:50pm on a weekday, 3 days after rent was due and we had been emailing about not being able to access our portal). Calling is useless because no one answers, and if you’re lucky enough to find someone at the front desk they usually can’t help you anyway.
On 4/23 we moved all of our things out, deep cleaned our apartment, and sent photos of the nasty patio (mentioned earlier) that we informed them we were not cleaning due to it not being our mess. We were told on 4/24 that we would receive our final invoice and deposit amount within 72 hrs. Two weeks go by and no email or refund in sight. We tried calling multiple times, No answer. Finally, I was able to get a response via email today (5/7), from an office member who doesn’t even work at this complex but has been “helping out”. Her name is Karen and she’s been the only semi-helpful person in this process. However, upon reviewing the invoice that was provided to us today, management is trying to charge us exactly our deposit balance (coincidentally) for AN EARLY TERMINATION FEE. We have never asked for an early termination and have documentation stating that our notice to vacate was 4/30/24. Had we known that this would happen, we would’ve moved out a week later and saved money on not paying prorated rent at our new place. Following this email, we tried to call Range Water directly, of course with no response. We are currently out over $250 for an early termination fee that was never asked for or documented.
To sum everything up, do not be fooled by this place. The location is awesome but this place not at all worth the price of rent, let alone the various other items they want to randomly implement extra charges for. All in all, it’s a mess, and if I could give it 0 stars, I woul

I am a former resident of the Ele. Location is awesome and the building has some nice amenities/ features. However, the place seems like it was built with craft glue and cardboard. My bedroom ceiling would leak with heavy rain. They attempted to resolve it once. It leaked again and they fixed it cosmetically. As a result of not addressing the root cause, it leaked again.
Now that I’ve been moved out for two months, I have yet to receive my final statement. Additionally, they took money from my security deposit and no one can give me an answer as to why. I have been trying to get an answer for a month and was told the property manager would reach out to me. The regional manager is aware as well but still no explanation.
