Walked in to get my film camera fixed and Eugene was so kind to use some of their own film instead of mine and when I went to purchase their film, he didn’t charge me but gifted the role of film to me. I’ll be buying film from them from now on.

such a friendly and informative place. i don't know much about cameras but recently started to pick up film photography as a hobby. Not only do they sell film but they sell FUN film. Learning so much about the process too. They also carry so many legitimate cameras as well and I will definitely make sure to buy my next camera through them!!!

I came in and bought some rhode microphones from this store and the next day I dropped one and the screen cracked. I spoke to Eugene and he was able to get me a brand new set the same day! They were super nice and understanding. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Competitive Cameras! I buy nearly all of my gear from them and they are always willing to spend the time listening to what I need and recommending the best option (sometimes when I don't even know exactly what I want but am trying to accomplish something). Without fail, all of the folks who work there, starting with the father-son duo, Ramsey and Eugene, are so plot and patient and knowledgeable. In a few cases, I have gone in in a bit of a panic as I was about to leave for a trip, only to realize I was missing some critical component. They always come through with a solution. In these days, of online retail sales, it is a breath of fresh air to go in and interact with real, knowledgeable, helpful people as partners in photography!

they helped me find a wonderful new camera (bc mine was super old) and a smaller bag for convenience. they were super nice when telling me what they know. eugene and alicia were crazy helpful.
