I absolutely love this vet clinic! Everyone is so nice and very patient with my pup! I live in Dallas now but, I will drive all the way to Crowley for them to take of my lil lady, Peaches. Plus, I get to visit close family while in the area and the prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend!

This is from a customer from 2021, I didn't start reviews until recently;
I brought my new-ish to me 1 year old GSD to this vet as my first vet in the area with him to get him started on catch-up care. This was in the after affects of Covid, although I'm not sure if that influenced the policies here. We were instructed to stay in the car, they'd come get our pet, do the entire exam, then bring them back. No big deal I thought at first but after a couple visits my GSD was fighting the visit more and more, particularly getting out of the car. At the last attempt, he actually peed himself when I was trying to wrestle him out of the car. Seeing him that scared where a 1.5 year old GSD at that point was peeing himself from fear, I made comments on what had happened to the vet techs who had come outside. When they looked at me with a blank face and all but shrugged, I left and did not come back. I had to use a fear-free facility from that point forward, who had to undo all the affects of this vet on him. He was comfortable enough with one vet in the room, but as soon as two walked in he was scared, ran to me, stayed behind me, etc speaking to what went on at this vet behind closed doors without owners in the rooms.
I'm pretty disappointed to have seen the after-effects of the multiple visits with this vet office, constantly working through the ripple effects on my dogs behavior with training, vet visits, finding the right vet to not ignore these signs as "eh nervous dog its fine. no dog likes the vet."
God bless for the fear-free facility I have found that actually shows they care, communicates, shows all their behavior to me with me in the room, and take the steps to make sure the DOG is okay. Highly highly disappointed.

Can’t say enough about this place. It’s refreshing to find a Veterinarian that cares more about the pets than making a dollar off you. Friendly staff I got my appointment time wrong and was there a hour early they got me right in. I have a Beagle and a Dachshund the care they get is 5 stars all the way.

I'd like to preface this by saying I'm sorry to the staff at Crowley Road Animal Hospital, as I'm sure for the most part none of this is their fault. It sounds like a management thing. My family had been taking our dog Elliot here on and off for nearly two decades. We stuck with them because he knew the staff and they knew him. Once it was unfortunately and inevitably Elliot's time, his everlasting youth suddenly and painfully fading, we decided that there would be no better place to take him. I took off work to go with my family to say goodbye to the dog I'd grown up with. Elliot rode in my lap the whole way, happy. Once we got there, we were informed that due to Covid restrictions (years after it had ended) we couldn't come inside. I handed Elliot gently to an employee thinking nothing of it, assuming we'd be called back to be with him once it was his turn. The next time I saw Elliot was in a small wooden box with his collar on top. Due to some years-old leftover Covid restriction nonsense, Elliot, a blind dog, was euthanized by strangers in a strange place without myself or any of my family there. The image in my mind from handing Elliot to a stranger will be burned into my mind forever. It is legitimately difficult to describe how much guilt, frustration and shame I still feel from that one moment just over a year later, not to mention when I found out soon after that he was gone. Take your pets here for medical treatment or whatever else they need. That's fine. Just don't take them here to say goodbye. You won't get a chance.
