If I could give this place less than zero stars I definitely would!! DO NOT BRING YOUR FRONT WHEEL DRIVE CAR TO THIS PLACE!!! A year and a half to finally get mine fixed at a good transmission shop = AAMCO!!! As has been said here before, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Cardinal came highly recommended, and rightly so. Very knowledgeable and honest.When I first called him , he asked several questions about my transmission issues. Then told me what had happened and how he would repair it to not happen again. I took several months deciding whether I wanted to do the repair or not. I talked to him multiple times and he was happy to answer all my questions. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cardinal Transmission. Professional, honest and takes pride in doing it right the first time.

Cant say enough good things about Cardinal Transmission! They serviced my 6.0 Powerstroke transmission for a rough shift and temp issue. The repair was explained thoroughly, and the time window for repair was quoted exactly as described. No hidden Charges, just a straight up good old fashioned business approach. The truck was fixed and I have been happy .

If you are in need of transmission service and are anywhere near this shop, please do yourself a favor and take your vehicle there.Brad will take the time to explain exactly what is going on, what needs to be done to fix it, and will give a fair and accurate estimate before he starts the work. My 2012 Suburban runs like new now and I really did not think that was possible.

My Challenger decided to break down on a Sunday in Giddings Texas. Had it towed to Brads shop and SO HAPPY THAT I CHOSE CARDINAL TRANSMISSION to repair my car!! Fixed in one day and for A HUGE AMOUNT LESS than what was expected!! Brad is honest, professional, and has integrity…. Rare qualities these days in the service business but I found an abundance in Columbus Texas. 5 stars is selling Cardinal Transmission short as they are worthy of many more stars…. Highly recommend this shop if you have transmission or drive train issues, regardless if you live in Houston, Austin, or San Antonio. ITS WORTH IT TO DO BUSINESS HERE- I assure you that the service that Brad and his team provide won’t be found in the big cities! We were traveling through Columbus and had our transmission mess up so we went to Cardinal trans. Service. Brad was able to look at it right away. Being Christmas break it was a few days tell he could rebuild my transmission. 3 days after I gave him my truck he had it ready to go and called for me to pick it up. Great job, he even went out of his way to fix some other problems I had just to help me get back on the road towing my camper on down the highway. Very knowledgeable guy I recommend him.
