“I think this is a great place to shop for shoes. The clearance racks are all the way in the back of the store. The only thing I don’t like is it can get a little messy in the store because of all the traffic. Oh, and they don’t really carry shoe laces if that’s what you’re looking for.”

“I came here after a really negative experience at Brown's Shoe Fit Co. I was looking for some Hokas and Trade Home had a very wide selection and the kindest staff to assist me. I must have tried on a dozen to get the right fit and not once did I feel like I was inconveniencing anyone. The young man that assisted me was quite knowledgeable and was incredible helpful. Their pricing was very competitive, and I have been back several times!”
“I really liked this store until August 2023. We went here to buy a swing set. They have a metal one and a wooden one we wanted the metal one we asked the gentleman and he told us they were gonna go look in the back. He came back and told us that they had the metal one well when it was time that we went and checked out, the employee told me to go move my truck up front and I did well then he comes outside and tells me after all they don’t have the metal one. They only have the wooden one and if I want the metal one I have to go 30 more miles to another Academy. The problem was I was already behind on schedule and how do you have some thing on display that you don’t have?”

I ended up buying 4 pairs and really wanted to buy another pair in hot pink, but I told myself -no maybe next time. “Love these shoes and will even be wearing them at my wedding. They got me through years before needing more. They are stronger than I expected especially with how rough I am on my shoes. But they are really good. Plus they always look so cool. I love that you can now customize your shoes online too!I will definitely be a vans fan for more years too come. I do wish our location was as big as the other ones. Other ones I have been to have blown my mind in comparison to ours. But ours is still good and gets the job done. Plus the staff are calm and nice and don't treat you like you need hand holding or observations 24/7”
