As expensive as groceries are these days, it's nice to have some customer service to soften the blow. If you like to be completely ignored by cashiers, this is the place for you. Mary D. Not even once ACKNOWLEDGED we were there because she was so engrossed in a conversation with the bagger about her kids. I'm honestly surprised she even handed me my receipt, but she even continued her conversation while doing that. She did, however, stop chatting long enough to tell me I saved $6 though, so there's that. The bagger did offer to take our groceries to the car, but I said "no worries, continue your conversation, I got it".
I live in Houston, which is known for rudeness and hostility but have NEVER been a grocery store that did not have impeccable customer service/ interaction. Next time I visit my daughter, I will make the drive to Abilene for groceries because apparently Clyde Tx is too small to know manners or customer service.

Love this store! Thank goodness I don't have to go to WalMart :)Everyone is ALWAYS so nice!!! Oh - and you don't have to self check out or take your things to the car... THEY DO IT FOR YOU WITHOUT ASKING
