What's wrong with the staff at this Visionworks location? Staff is unprofessional, both Sonya Kelley (at the desk) and Margaret Franco (store manager). I am wondering if they know how to work with VSP insurance? No, they don't know how to do it. I've been to this Visionworks location twice, both times with the same question, both time I am so surprised with unprofessional and rude communication. I have a VSP insurance and I wanted to buy Lacoste L967S Sunglasses. For VSP insurance if a customer had LASIK surgery (which I had), VSP will discount 150 USD off the sunglasses. So I clearly and politely described my case and gave my driver license, document proving LASIK surgery and my VSP insurance. After me patiently and politely waiting for 30 minutes, Sonya Kelley tried to fill some forms at iPad and finally told me "I don't do that (VSP benefit) here". Also she said she can't apply a VSP coupon, published on visionworks.com for an unknown to me reason. Surprise! I am VSP customer who came to a VSP authorized provider Visionworks, but Sonya Kelley doesn't know how file that with VSP. As a customer, you would probably expect from the staff an answer like; - "Let me figure it how to do it!", - "Let me call my manager, support line or VSP and I will figure it out" or - "Excuse me, I am not able to help you right now, do you mind if I call you tomorrow once I figure it out?" But none of that was given because... the reason is Sonya Kelley doesn't do VSP here. When I started to ask why she can't do that, and if she might not do it, Visionworks is still and authorized VSP provider, she asked me to leave. And said to me in a manner like if I wanted to steal something from the store "Oh, I remember you, you came with the same question before and you thought I wouldn't remember you?" Say what? I should think twice before coming to Visionworks to buy sunglasses? So let me know, please what's wrong with the staff at this Visionworks location? Is it the way how VSP customers are treated at Visionworks?

The manager wouldn’t answer any questions after I placed an order. Then she hung up on me. I think visionworks is ok but dont go to this place. S

Don't go, the worst staff ever. Very arrogant, lazy and had a bad attitude. I usually would not bother to write a review, this place is just horrible, I went there once and will never go again. My husband and I used to have glasses from visionworks (abor walk location) every single year, but this location(lakeline mall area) drove us away, We decided to go to costco instead.

I didn't catch everyone's name but the technicians and front office staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Dang was awesome!!!! Highly recommend coming here for comprehensive eye exam.The optical shop next door was also a great experience with great frame selection honest pricing knowledgeable about lens materials and add one and utilized my VSP insurance well. I was blessed to get to work with Margaret the manager. She knows her stuff and is super king to work with.

I can't say enough about the experience I just had with Sonya at VisionWorks - she went well above & beyond the call of duty to get me going with some glasses. She spent upwards of an hour getting my lenses into some new frames, they were a challenge given some superglue I used in a repair attempt. She was super friendly and determined to get me out of there in some usable frames - I highly recommend this place, thank you Sonya/VisionWorks!

They took care of everything I needed, and I was good to go. A few days later I had my new glasses. The only thing is the lack of variety of brands, but other than that. They will make sure you are well-taken care of

Sonia was the sweetest lady I’ve ever met! She went above and beyond with her service and answered all my questions with ease. She was so patient, kind and kept us laughing the whole time she made a boring chore into a really fun experience! We will definitely be back lol and not just because I have to pick up glasses

They are super great here! Margaret, the store manager had just moved from another location. She fixed my sunglasses while the other associate finished my order. I can’t remember her name but she was super nice and helpful, focused and patient! She checked for the best pricing for my insurance.

Sonia. Kelly, optical supervisor, and Margaret are both very kind, helpful and knowledgeable regarding my insurance. What it covers only explanation of the prescription from anthem address. We went great details, and they make me feel comfortable, but what I was doing.
