The Hertz at Cedar Park has amazing employees who helped me so much. Veda was particularly helpful and kind to me, and she went above and beyond to ensure that I would get a vehicle in a timely manner. She and Nicola provided amazing customer service!

***Update: Continued unprofessionalism. I emailed the manager, requesting date and time and other information regarding the “further inspection” and vehicle log with location and number of additional renters after me. He responded by asking me to fill out and send back an incident report which I would not do: 1) all sections were blank, which could be filled in by them after I returned the form with my information, and 2) the form itself, when filled out by the customer, indicates that the “Renter/Driver acknowledges that damage to the rental vehicle as indicated occurred during their rental of the vehicle.” I did not hear back from him after my response; however, I stated my willingness to provide a written statement to the police. Fast forward two weeks later, and Hertz Claim Support is requesting my insurance information for the damage to the vehicle. There has been no proof of damage during the one hour during which I dropped off and they accepted the vehicle, nor any indication they have looked into it. For all I know, each additional renter has been accused of damaging the same vehicle. I will be escalating this issue with Hertz as well as filing a complaint with the BBB.***I sent an email and cc’d the region manager whose email I requested from one of the women working when I went in originally. I had her spell it out for me since she didn’t have a business card for him and then had her look at what I wrote down to confirm it was correct. Surprise, the email was returned undeliverable.***I have always used Hertz (primarily at airports), and across 4 states, I’ve always had a great experience until now. I picked up on a Saturday morning, and the vehicle I reserved wasn’t available. Instead, they reserved a smaller vehicle, which was annoying but sufficient; however, it was billed at a more expensive rate. I explained I had reserved at a lower rate, and when I mentioned this, the agent changed the rate, suddenly finding the correct rate in the system. This initial experience wasn’t a dealbreaker since they honored my reserved rate, and I thought I was good to go. Other than some Cheetos under the seat, I had a great week and was set to return it the following Saturday. I called them on Friday to ask if I could turn it in earlier because I had to be somewhere at the time I scheduled to return it, and they told me, yes, go ahead and drop it off with the keys into the drop box. They open at 9 on Saturday morning, so they said someone would retrieve the keys and check it in that morning.I left the car in the parking lot around 7:45 am Saturday morning and dropped the keys in the box. Later that day, I receive an email with my receipt noting an 8:49 am return time. I thought all was done until a voicemail THE FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY claiming that “upon further inspection,” the driver’s side door is missing a small panel. I go back to my pictures, wondering what this supposed missing panel could be. I went in this morning (Saturday) to look at the vehicle, and it is indeed missing the entire bottom panel of the door—like how could anyone not notice a missing panel until 4 days later? I returned the vehicle fully intact, the keys were checked in by an agent an hour after return, then FOUR DAYS LATER I’m accused of returning a damaged vehicle? I mean, who had the car during that timeframe? So glad I took pictures with which to counter this outrageous claim.I am yet to speak with the manager; however, I would avoid this location as the situation reeks of incompetence at best and something predatory at worst.

They don't deserve one star. Do not rent from this location. They lie to your face. They'll give you a car that they know are not in great condition. They refuse to acknowledge that a car is in bad condition. They continuously try to put the blame on the customer for things that are out of customer's control. DON'T RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. Worst rental experience in all my 20 years EVER. The agents are not knowledgeable of what the dealings are with the company. They again refuse to acknowledge that a car is being rented in bad condition at the time of the rental before the car is even driven off the lot. The manager has no customer service experience and will hang up on you if he's being challenged. Time to speak with corporate.

Hertz "overbooked". Told me they wouldn't have the cat I reserved in January.Told me to call this location to transfer my reservation.Whoever spoke with here took may name and number and never called me back.Fighting either corporate for a refund.Going to authorities and local media to raise awareness. These local hertz locations are common criminals.I would be embarrassed to work at one.STAY AWAY. CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION !PROSECUTION is coming.

This place was sketchy. As soon as I walked in, I stated I needed a rental because my engine blew, implying I didn’t have a car and needed one NOW. For whatever reason, they wasted my time and did not tell me 24hr reservation prior was necessary. They also did not tell me about the deposit fees initially, and had me insert my card before there was even a total. The deposit is $200 for a credit card, and a WHOPPING $500 if it’s debit. I ended up going to enterprise behind it and WAY better. Overall the cost to rent a car for the same period of time was cheaper, and the deposit paying with debit was only $300. Only go to hertz if you want to put a hurtz on your wallet, brain, and time.

I’m beyond grateful for the exceptional service my husband and I received from Vida. She made the whole process from picking up vehicle to returning so easy and truly enjoyable. She was friendly and very professional. We will be coming to this location soon again to rent another vehicle and truly… WE ONLY WANT TO DEAL WITH VIDA FROM NOW ON! ? If I could give this review 100 starts I would. Thank you Vida for a memorable experience. Looking forward to see you soon again for our next rental ?

I rented a car through the Hertz location on North Bell Blvd. in Cedar Park. From the moment that I walked in to the business, I could sense the tension in the atmosphere. Asking them to do their job is a burden on them. They will not go above and beyond to help you. The guy at the front desk will try to glare and intimidate you. It seems the staff are quick to assume the worst from people. Upon returning my vehicle, I was threatened with a $500 cleaning fee for returning my vehicle "excessively dirty" after the woman looked me from head to toe when she saw my personal vehicle. I would not recommend this location based off my experience. I will take my business to Enterprise in the future. Still have not received my deposit.C------- Rate 3/10

Where do I even begin. This was the worst car rental experience I have ever had in my lifetime and it will certainly be the last at Hertz.A few months ago, I reserved a NON-ELECTRIC compact car for my trip to Kansas City. On Monday morning, when I come to get the car, it was given to someone else and the only car available was a Nissan Leaf, the worst electric car ever made. I did not want an electric car as I had concerns there would be no chargers, especially in desolate areas like Kansas. She then told me to take it to another Hertz if I wanted to swap it for a gas vehicle. This completely ruined my trip. I RESERVED a gas vehicle and you’re telling me you don’t have one? What’s the point of reserving then?Seeing that I had no choice, I took the car anyway or my trip would have been canceled. I called every Hertz in the Austin area and either they didn’t pick up the phone or they didn’t have a car for me to swap out with. I should have just canceled it because what I’m about to tell you was the most infuriating experience in my entire life. The car’s battery was so degraded it didn’t even make it to Waco before it died. Shockingly, the Nissan Leaf uses a specific Nissan electric charger, which Waco does not have. I managed to get the vehicle to a Hertz in Waco, but they didn’t have a car for me to swap out with either. So I was forced to turn it in.Now I am stranded and my trip was just about ruined. I was about to say some very strong words to the Hertz employee in Waco but it wasn’t their fault. Nonetheless they still could not accommodate me.And then, suddenly, I was struck with Divine intervention as I called the enterprise right down the road and they said they not only had a gas car ready for me, but it was also cheaper than Hertz. Who would’ve thought. So I made it to Kansas City after all, after midnight when I was supposed to be there before the sun had even set.Hertz still charged me for the whole experience and I would very much like to speak with the management at Hertz in Cedar Park as of how this abomination of a storefront managed to screw me so badly. I would very much like my money back.

I needed a rental car for about a week. I did this through my Uber app with this particular location and could not be happier with the service and professionalism of all that I came in contact with.Nickolas was kind efficient and professional.I would recommend them and we'll use them again if needed

I was charged $882 for a rental which they say I returned late and to a different branch. My wife returned the car on time on the day it was due, but did not receive a return receipt. They told her it would be emailed (how convenient). Anyway, lucky for us, my wife used her maps the day of the pickup and return so I have my proof. Beware of this branch. I should have known something wasn't good about them when I checked my rental agreement and it stated the car had 88% fuel. Funny, I had to fill up in Belton the day of the rental due to low fuel. It took a good 15 gallons!

Reservation made more than a week in advance, but when arrived to pick up the vehicle a couple of hours past the time of the reservation, was told that they had no vehicles available, and that my reserved vehicle had been rented out because I arrived an hour later than the stated time. They didn’t even bother to check in or call before renting it out. I had to make alternative plans right there with a different company next door and had a pleasant experience with them. So disappointed in the experience with Herrz. This was a first attempted rental with them, and definitely the last.

The staff are nice and friendly. The Africans Americana lady there helped me resolve a problem with my rental which otherwise would've cost me a trip to the airport.

The people at this location were very helpful. However this not a 5 star review because I was sent a voicemail that my reservation was canceled due to unavailability or cars. When I called them they said it was because I saw late. However, at the end of the day they came through and got me a good car.

BEWARE, this location is awful. The stuff is completely rude and unprofessional please don’t waste your time here. There were so many people there with issues with their cars and were being treated awful by staff members. The man working Saturday morning was unhelpful in every aspect with a line out the door. I had a 9 am prepaid reservation, I arrived at 845 and they refused to let me have a rental that I had already paid for because I was paying with a debit card and did know have a credit card. He also wanted to run a hard credit check inquiry on me and when I said I prefer not to take a hit on my credit for a rental car he kept trying to get my information anyways. Just an overall awful experience.
