I called the bank to see what is required for a 3rd party to deposit a check. This branch informed me they can’t and transferred me to customer service. The deposit I’m trying to make exceeds my mobile app daily limit, so that’s out of the question. Customer Service informed me this branch is 100% capable of depositing a check and informed me of the required documents. When I called back to confirm they could, I was told by Veronica “I’m at this location and we will not deposit your check, you’ll have to go to Houston or Dallas.” I’m out of state for a funeral so I was trying to go through everything and she seemed bothered by my requests. This is not customer service!

Capital one is a joke of a bank. After being told we have to go to a branch to deposit a check, it was made out to multiple people and ids would need to be checked, we all drove the 40min to this branch, seeing as it’s the only one in the area. To be told we have to go to a branch with teller services, even though we weren’t cashing it, we wanted it deposited to our account, a teller would have to over ride it since we weren’t all on the same account. Then to be told we’re out of luck, because there are no teller services anywhere in the Austin or surrounding areas. So, be careful Capital One may work as a bank for some, but be aware that anytime something comes up where a teller maybe needed your up a creek without a paddle.

Truly the worst of the worst when it comes to banks. When there is a pattern of bad reviews, it’s real. Stay FAR AWAY from anything related to Capital One for your banking needs. You’ve been warned.

I've been doing business with Capital One for a long time and I have loved it. They have always been progressive and have treated me well. Now we're running into issues with being able to deposit or get cash without having to go to an ATM. I get it, but while we are still a cash society, as a financial institution, you need to at least accept cash deposits.

Like many others mention - this is a lousy excuse for a bank branch. I am a new customer and have had a savings account with CapOne but just recently signed up for a checking account and was awaiting my card but had a cashiers check I needed deposited. Given the amount, I wanted a real person to deposit my check and they refused and both employees spoke to me in a condescending manner and said to just use the ATM when my debit card arrived - as if I didn’t just drive 45 minutes to get actual help that they clearly weren’t willing to give, extremely unhelpful.

If you're looking for an actual bank, please do not go here. Or to the one on Riverside. They don't do ANYTHING for regular customers except point you to the ATM.Save yourself the stress and change to an actual bank.

I had to call them amd they were terrible. Very rude and refused to help me. Will never use this branch again and want to close my account.

A vendor gave me a refund with a Capital One check. I drove an hour to the Cedar Park TX location to be told they don't cash checks. Unbelievable. How do you call yourself a bank. I wish I could rate 0 stars. ?

Made a cash withdraw for $6K and the cashier pointed me to the ATM. No customer service at all. Looking for a real bankUpdate: I then went to Domain Cafe to get a cashier check. They can't issue a cashier check right away. Why the location even exist?

Worst bank on the planet. What kind of bank doesn't have cash. What kind of bank forces you to get a cashier's check and then charges you $10 to get it. No wonder no one banks at capital one

The staff are polite and helpful within the limits of the organization. Theyndo not accept deposits and cash withdrawals are through the ATM. Basically they are there to show you how to use the ATM and help commercial clients. You can get cashiers checks but you can get those at HEB. It's basically an ATM with an attendant.

Customer service couldn't be worse. They should just lock the doors, then the employees could play games on their phones instead of helping bothersome customers. I'm not sure why they have physical locations at all. 4 employees and they can't open any accounts or take money or checks. All they do is hand you a ipad and say here you go. It's laughable

The online representative told me to come here to deposit my international check (that the ATM wouldn't take). I came in and they said they don't take any checks or money at this location. It's just ATMs and customer service people. No actual banking. They told me I would have to drive to Dallas and they couldn't mail it for me, I would have to take it in person to Dallas. I'll just be opening an account with another chain to deposit my check.

They do not handle cash. Can't get rolls of change here. Pretty much better off calling capital one if you have questions or need anything.
