I had some minor bodywork damage that needed to be done. The staff here were kind, courteous and professional, and went above and beyond to do the work. I had a friend recommend them as honest professional people. I agree! Thanks so much for the great work!!

Good work done on my 2020 Nissan Altima. I was involved in a minor fender-bender abt a month ago. The only thing I did not like abt this business was their inability to answer calls. The person at fault's insurance co had a difficult time getting ahold of the staff. TBW needs to fix their phone issue, this will improve the customer experience!Service: Body & Trim

RUN, don't walk, AWAY from this repair shop!! They are no longer owned by the same family that started the business back in 1987. The previous owner passed away in 2021 and the former manager (who worked mostly with the customers) is no longer with the company either. A completely different family owns Tx Body Works now and based on my recent experience, do not appear to take the same care with their customers that the previous leadership did. The treatment was like night and day. Extremely disappointing!We dropped the car off on 6/13/23 due to extensive damage caused by the hail storm here in North Texas on 5/19/23. When told our car would be ready for pick up on 9/08/23, we arrived to find it in the condition shown in the attached pictures. When we were told the car would be delivered to us on 9/14/23 the following week, it was not delivered at the time promised and was still not completely ready by the time we drove to Carrollton to pick it up.While the work performed on our vehicle was ok and it looks nice (I cannot fault the team actually working on the cars), it took 3 months for our hail repairs to be completed. The communication from everyone we encountered at TX Body Works left a lot to be desired, to say the least. When I called, I always got the answering service, never a person in their front office. I called and left at least 5 messages with the answering service in the 3 months they had my car and they never once returned ANY of my calls. My daughter called requesting updates on her car and she was ignored as well. The only person who ever received a return call was my husband, and even then he only received a couple of calls with updates from TBW the entire time they had our car.When I resorted to email for updates, they did not respond to that communication either. Requesting a copy of my detailed, itemized statement/invoice went ignored for weeks until I let them know I would be filing a complaint with my insurance company. When they did finally respond after multiple requests, it was very defensive with a lot of excuses, mostly for personal reasons that had nothing to do with the repair of my vehicle.I completely understand going through insurance and the claim process takes time, especially now in our post-Covid world. However, being secretive about the process, being told "one more thing is needed for insurance approval then your car will be ready", and seeing a completely different list of additional items being claimed for repairs is another. Examples: Astronomical hours of labor being charged - original estimate 23 hrs for body work vs actual 90 hrs; a $500 windshield (that they broke!) was charged to insurance for almost $1,700!!Our insurance company (a large national company) has been made aware of our concerns and the TX Attorney General and TX Department of Insurance will be notified as well.Consumer Beware!!Service: Body & Trim

With all the hassle that comes with a hit and run collision, Texas Body Works was an excellent find. They were pleasant, professional, and very easy to work with. They communicated well and the repair work was well done. They appeared to genuinely take a lot of pride in that. They even returned the car all washed and clean. I would definitely use them again, although I hope I never have to. I recommend them highly!Services: Painting

These folks did a great job for us, they were efficient and fairly quick, very very little work on our end so the stress was minimal which is a huge plus as the insurance company's will give you enough stress for everyone! We received the vehicle back in great shape and it was spotless as well. They even delivered it to the rental car place which resulting in no time lost swapping the cars out. Texas Body Works is FANTASTIC ! I brought my 99 Monte Carlo in for repairs after the original body shop did a very poor job with absolutely no attention to detail anywhere. TBW was able to correct the paint flaws, redid the clear coat, corrected the body panel gaps, redid the badging that was crooked. Realigned the doors and corrected mistakes on the interior door panels. Their work was outstanding and completed all of it in a week. I can't say enough good things about TBW. When another repair shop told me I'd be without my car 6-8 weeks, I looked for an alternative and found Texas Body Works. They did everything in their power to work with me, to keep me in my car while parts were ordered, and save me money. When the parts came in, they had me in and out within a week - saving me, literally, thousands of dollars in rental fees. Not only that, but their work was flawless. My car looks like it's come right off the showroom floor and they even buffed out a scratch from a previous fender-bender at no charge. It may be rare to find good customer service and places willing to go above and beyond, but they do that here. You won't be disappinted.

I wouldnt send my child's tricycle to this place.....The customer service is terrible...No one answers the phone and never call back....They were paid to do a job and never did it; So we had to take our vehicle to Service King to complete work that they did not do! ...All these people will do is milk the insurance companies and never complete a job! They have a pending Lawsuit now for the poor service that they did prior to ours ..STAY AWAY unless you don't mind waiting 3 months!

Took my vehicle to get a quote on a scratch I found on my front bumper after coming out of a grocery store (Ofcourse) Alberto and his team took great care of me! Not only did they attend me right away they also said my front bumper would not need to be repainted and that it was simply just paint transfer that can be removed with a quick light buff. Alberto right away asked for my keys and said they can take care of it and he damn sure did! Looks brand new!! He did not want to charge me for the service however I insisted on him taking atleast a tip. Will definitely be bringing my car here In the future if I ever need it!

Called 2x to set up an appointment to get an estimate for repairs. Each time they promised someone from their office would call me, which never happened. I waited a week, then called again and went through the same thing. Then tried to call again and could never get anyone to answer
