We are nearing the end of a significant remodel of our kitchen and transforming the master bath into a spa in our home. I first talked with Brandon on the phone several hours while he patiently drew out what I was looking for and what ideas we had. I told him I had no color sense or confidence in my ability to design a new space and he assured me he has a designer that helps every step of the way. (He does, they did.) From the beginning Brandon promised that they would give us advice, let us know if something we were planning would either detract from the home value or be spending more than it adds, but at the end of the day we are the customer and they will work towards what we want. The first phase was design with 3d drawings, and we could decide from there if we wanted to continue the project or not. I think the thing that has impressed me the most from the very beginning is the quality of the work, and the professionalism, courtesy, and ability to enjoy my snarky sense of humor sometimes, haha! Their guidance was invaluable and we pushed them into some new areas (I think ours was the first steam shower they've put in, but I bet not the last). They moved a load-bearing wall in our master bedroom 2 feet to grow the bathroom into what we envisioned, and again -- it was so clear during construction that hidden under the drywall and paint, there is expert high-quality framing, electrical, etc -- they don't cut the corners you can't see, and I can't say enough how much care they put into their work. If something didn't come out the way I liked, they jumped through whatever hoop it took to fix whatever detail it was. We bought our house in 2013 and been planning and saving for this for 10 years. Lonestar has really come through and made it a much better reality than I could have even imagined! I've never had a home built from scratch, and I've never had a contractor do more than just spiff up and replace in the past. This has been a unique experience, but I'm glad I chose Lonestar Design Build to see it through! We hired LoneStar Design Build for an overall home remodel. Kathi listened keenly during our initial meeting and offered really great ideas. The LoneStar team was great to work with, as they helped coordinate the selections based on our personal style. They pointed out options and worked towards our budget. Susan and Don were always available to answer questions and update us on the schedule. When unexpected changes occurred, LoneStar found ways to solve them. They are professional and did a quality job. Although the project took longer than expected, we are very pleased with the results and the finished product. Don’t walk, RUN away from this company. You get NOTHING for a $2500 deposit but a bunch of lip service from Kathi Fleck and two hours at a tile and appliance showroom. Gave her a check in April and not ONE thing was done in my house. Absolutely zero. I fired her in October and she kept my money. It’s impossible to track down any legitimate reviews regarding this company most likely due to all the name changes throughout the years. Buyer Beware!!!

LoneStar did a great job in remodeling my Mom’s new bathroom and bedroom. They were very detailed, adding suggestions for a seamless outcome.I never dreaded having anyone in my home as the entire crew was very trustworthy and dependable. Painting was amazing and the tile installer was very diligent, sloping the shower floor so I could roll Mom into the shower in a wheelchair. Tom was like a magician, as he just got things done and I hardly know he was in the house. Megan created a masterpiece and knew how to coordinate all selections and what goes together. Susan was very positive and quick to respond, giving me the schedule ahead of time. I will definitely recommend you to my friends.

Before I hired LoneStar Design Build to help me design and remodel my downstairs, I was concerned that it would look too stock house, like a big box store. I wanted a unique and interesting look with a Designer’s touch.I found LoneStar to be very professional, on schedule with lots of attention to detail. Susan, my Project Coordinator was always bubbly and positive, giving her opinions and advice. She constantly met the subs and kept them on track. Don is a real asset, as he works hard to get the job done and helped fix other items that weren’t even part of my project. I didn’t have to think about any parts of my job, as it was all handled for me. Susan reached out to let me know dates and schedules and everyone seemed to know what was happening. All the items were ordered and waiting at my home. I’ve enjoyed working with the team at LoneStar so much that we’re working on new projects.

Lonestar Design and Build did a terrific job with our Master Bath and Jack N Jill remodel. We recently moved into this house and knew that we need to “fix” the bathroom. And while we were fixing all the water leaks, we wanted to bring the bathroom into a modern feel.Because any remodeling project requires so many choices – big and small – I knew that I wanted a firm that would help manage the process from design all the way through the build. Lonestar did just that. From the materials to the plan details and managing the subs, we were always keep informed of all progress and changes. Communication was top notch.The team is a delight to work with as well. Megan, Kathi and Susan have an attention to detail that I so appreciate. Don and the rest of the crew worked to do it right…and kept our house clean in the process!We’d recommend Lonestar for your next project.

This is the third project that LoneStar Design Build has completed for us. We continue to be happy with the quality and timeliness in completing our projects. They were able to come in and take a leaky shower out and transform the bathroom in to a very nice space.

I have been working with Lone Star design build for about 7 years for various projects. They have done many variety of projects. Lastly they painted my house. I love it. They also had to do some reconstruction of one of my doors to to rin damage. Beautiful work. Thanks.

We highly recommend LoneStar Design Build! Kathi and Don are so pleasant to work with, as is their staff. We love the design Megan helped us create. We remodeled half of our downstairs level, including the kitchen, so our project took quite a bit of time. The work done is top-notch and just looks beautiful! Kathi and Susan worked with us along the way on the schedule, and on making sure every step met our expectations. The result ended up being exactly what we wanted. We hired LoneStar Design Build to completely remodel two of our guest bathrooms to provide a brighter & more usable space. Kathi, Don and Meagan communicated well with us throughout the project and at the end did multiple walkthroughs to ensure we were happy. There were some issues with the tile install in one of the showers, but they fixed the issues and made sure the end result was to our expectations and of course at no extra cost to us. The entire team was very professional; I have already recommended this company to several neighbors.

We used LoneStar Design Build to remodel our master bath and were very pleased with their work. When we first met with Kathi, we told her we had a couple of ideas of what we wanted to accomplish but felt overwhelmed with all the different options with granite countertops, tile choices, fixture selection, paint colors etc.Kathi assured us she would put some options together for us that would make our decision making much easier and, wow, did she deliver. She presented us with about 6 different options that included all the materials needed for the project and had samples to help us “visualize” how it would all look when done. It was obvious Kathi listened to us during our initial meeting and did her homework to come up with some attractive options for us without overwhelming us with material choices.As the general contractor, Kathi and her team handled all subcontractor interface. We had one minor issue during the project, the painter applied the wrong texture to the sheetrock. We called Kathi and the problem was corrected the next morning. The crews worked quickly and kept the job site clean during the project.Our experience with LoneStar Design Build was very positive and we will certainly call them with any remodeling projects we have in the future.
